A hidden gem in Ankeny! The sushi rolls were fresh and prepared perfectly. Love that the menu has a nice variety of fish with creative flavor combos. Will certainly be back. One neg was the shumai, they were small and didn't really taste of shrimp. The staff was very friendly--even came outside and waited to find my boyfriend that left his card.

We arrived around 6:30 for dinner last night and were greeted and seated right away. There was only one waitress who was doing a great job attending to all the tables! The ambiance was quiet and cozy, although our table could have been bigger for all the great food! We ordered 5 sushi rolls and an appetizer. The Shu Mai app was underwhelming for the price. Tasted good and was hot but 6 tiny dumplings for the price was a bit hard to justify in hindsight. The sushi rolls were AMAZING. Fresh and flavorful and unique. We ordered the Tiger Roll, Fantastic Roll, Golden Seattle Roll, Sweet Potato Roll, and Spicy Tuna Roll. All were excellent and we were very impressed with them. Can't wait to come back!

The best pad Thai in Ankeny hands down. Service was great. The place wasn't too busy during lunch on Sunday. Everything was fresh and clean.

Pickup time took 30 minutes. They confirmed it was ready to pick up while I was sitting in the restaurant waiting and it took an additional 5 minutes.The price for so little food is ridiculous. 28.51 for "3 rolls". One speciality roll in the mix. Feeds a little more than 1 person but that's it. Seems like they've made the rolls smaller to offset the price.Food was good but the pickup experience and price just sours it too much.
