Pizza ranch has always been my family go to for Pizza and Chicken when we all got together and will continue too until they run out of business it's a great family restaurant and now they have a robot that goes around for putting your dishes in it check it out!!Kid-friendliness: Has a really cool arcade with lots to do for you and your kids!!
Pizza Ranch has always been great for a quick bite of comfort food. They're always willing to put in a fresh pizza if they don't have one on the buffet already.I have been somewhat discouraged the last couple of times I've been in this location because of the robot ? that drives around. I understand that it cuts down on overhead (although the buffet price hasn't gone down), it's quite annoying how frequently the thing comes around when you're eating. I'd honestly say the fried chicken at pizza ranch is their best item, the pizzas are really tasty and have a great selection when dining in for the buffet option, but that fried chicken is absolutely divine. Every time I'm in Ankeny from the UK I always make sure I get some of that fried chicken. All in all a good atmosphere, plenty for the kids to do while you have your fill of the buffet.
