Used to come here often, but lately the customer service has been awful, and the wait times are infuriating. The food was never good enough to make the poor service worth the wait.Been here a few times to pick up door dash and Uber eats orders, and the service/wait times are getting so bad that I'm starting to refuse orders from Sonic. What a shame, because it used to be a pretty impressive crew working there.

If you choose this for a dinner spot, be prepared for the inability to comprehend basic fast food customer service tasks, the lack of respect for your time, the lack of intelligence with the staff. This was the last good sonic in Des Moines, so now if I want sonic, ima have to drive and hr away to get it. We Arrived at 9:30, was going great, ordered and waited 30 to 45 mins for our food, as soon as we got our food, the order was completely wrong and then waited another 30 mins just for them to bring out our food with no drinks, we then waited another 10 mins for our drinks and when we left it was 10 mins before closing. if I could give zero stars the lack of accountability within the staff I would.

Tight parking for bigger American vehicles. Plenty of time to peruse the menu. Once ordered, hang out in your vehicle until the food arrives. It seemed like a longish wait, and the food was delivered with Zero interaction. Food itself was made to order, and they used quality ingredients. Meal was very good, especially for "late night" on a Tuesday.

This restaurant needs a surprise inspection in my opinion. Food was cold and none of it tasted good or right!! Complete waste of $60!! I tried to get a refund from DoorDash and was offered $12 which does not come anywhere close to covering our order that was thrown away. And when you call the number that they tell you to call when leaving a review it tells you to contact the store manager so what is the point in telling us to call that number?Dietary restrictions: Requested no cheese on the sandwich because my husband is allergic and it had cheese that was completely melted to the burger so no way to take it off. All of the food had a horrible greasy corndog, funnel cake mixture taste to it we literally threw all of the food away.
Absolutely terrible customer service speaker don't work then an old lady talks to you like your dumb. I do not recommend going there especially since DQ is just down the

I get no one wants to work at a fast food place but u guys are in need of some workers after sitting at one of the booths to order and pressing our button we where told we are only taking drive thru orders so us sitting there looking at the menu taking our time now we have to go to the back of the line that has accumulated because no one wanted to put a sign out at least stating drive-thru only anyways after going thru the line and ordering we asked for 2 double quarter pounder and a combo meal our combo meal was fine but we where charged for double quarter pounders but just got regular cheeseburgers like WTH I hate that it's almost required now to check your food before leaving any establishment..Thanks for the generic copy and paste response below?

Waited in line for an hour and almost 20 minutes at the window for ice cream. They were serving the cars behind us while we sat at the window and workers just stared at us. Then they filled our cups half full and barely added any toppings/syrup. Terrible service.
