Very cool decor inside. The food is fantastic. However, some suggestions 1. Get more friendly waiters 2. Have background music ( apple play) or cds of Hawaiian music . We only heard country. If you want to be an Iowa and Hawai mix play both. 3. Have some Spam dishes. Great food Chef!
Chef Jared’s food is always amazing. Burlington is so lucky to have him and his little restaurant, the Hawaiiowan.A lot of love and imagination goes into this food. Portions are large and satisfying. I recently got the bibimbap with beef and the beet + goat cheese salad—amazing and I had lots left over for lunch the next day. Atmosphere is cozy and the drinks yummy. Such a wonderful place! The food was FANTASTIC!! We had a Reservation. No issues whatsoever with it. Our waitress - Angela - was so kind. Highly Attentive - and very knowledgeable about the menu. The Atmosphere was perfect. Relaxing. We even asked what music they were playing as even the music added something special to the experience. Wonderful! Looking forward to our next visit!
