Let me start by saying the baristas here are great! My issue with this location is the renovation. There is so much less seating than there was previously! It makes it difficult to get a drink and catch up with friends, and this lack of seating unfortunately leads me to choose other coffee shops. The two times I attempted to go since the remodel, the friends I brought along noted the same thing - it was better before the renovation and they would be choosing other coffee shops with ample seating :/ It's sad because again the baristas are great and it's in a convenient location, but it's just lost the cozy coffee shop vibes and is now cramped.

This is the best Starbucks location that I have been to in and around the Des Moines area. The coffee never taste, burnt or bitter like a lot of Starbucks locations and they seem to have the ratios for milk/cream/sweetener perfected. The service is always on point as well.
it was fast service BUT they didn't secure the lid on one of the drinks so it was split all over my boyfriends lap ( ruining his white shorts ) - we ordered a caramel macchiato & it was just milk & caramel no coffee in it at all. really disappointing.
