“Went for lunch with my parents and cousin and had a delightful time! We were greeted nicely by Sean (SP?) who also spent a bit of time chatting with us and let us get to know him a bit. My family always appreciates not only the food experience of going out, but wonderful times getting to know others and about their lives. So very much a hats off to Sean and his people skills and kind heart. Our server, Hailey (SP?) was absolutely wonderful and a joy to get to know a bit as well. She clearly has a great work ethic and a way with people to just make you feel welcome and that your needs are met to make your time at Outback a great experience. The food is always great, but huge thanks to Sean and Hailey for helping make our day together a wonderful one!“
“Went to 801 Chophouse on our Anniversary. Our tables was full of hearts, reserved and ready as we arrived early. Everything we ordered was the perfect temperature and the flavor was was worth every penny though we didn't find it overly expensive at all. A definite must try.Parking: It was Sunday so so free stree parking.“
“We love the Johnston, Ia Texas Roadhouse their food is always great, and the servers are friendly and accommodating as possible. The only thing is when you have large groups, you can't be sat together !Vegetarian options: They have some vegetarian options they even have a vegetarian plate that i cludes 4 sides of your choice and its decently priced as well!Parking: Free parking. However, they get really busy, so sometimes parking can be somewhat difficult, or you may have to wait for a little bit!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly and accommodating when possible!“
“have been going to Jesse's Ember's for 40+ years. Tonight, showed up at 7:30 PM ordered traditional ribs, which were moist and very tasty at the late hour. We eat out a lot in Des Moines, and these are definitely the best ribs in Des Moines.“
“I love it when we get to choose the type of meat ( I picked Ribeye ) and appetizers like mushrooms, onions, green peppers, shrimp in cast iron - small skillets. Then you go to the bid brick charcoal grill. That is where you cook your own food, plenty of Texas Bread to butter up and grill. That's when it you can get baked beans, baked potatoes, fried potatoes, at the warming table.Great food , give it a try!“
“First off, Phillip was an amazing employee. Took my reservation over the phone. Polite and accommodating. Then took my son and my order and attended to us regularly. The mushroom appetizer was delicious. I had sea bass which was great and took a bite of my son’s ribeye and it was perfect. I can’t wait to go back.“
“If you're looking for a reasonably priced meal for your family this is the spot. Friendly staff, excellent specials. The egg rolls are a must. The pizza is served with generous toppings and great crust. This unassuming family owned business really something delightful.Vegetarian options: Small salad bar. Lots of great salads ?. Plenty of veggie toppings for their pizzas.Parking: The parking is a shared lot with a strip mall and grocery store. Always spaces.Kid-friendliness: It's a family restaurant. They have boosters and high chairs. Sturdy chairs and tables. No high tops.“
“Absolute gem! And local stable, for many years this restaurant has delivered delicious meals and sides. I've eaten in and ordered prime rib for Christmas. Either way never a bad choice. Only negative is that it gets very busy with long wait times.“
“I was very impressed!!! I really enjoyed the privacy curtains. The food was very good cooked perfectly! the service was perfect as well very polite and checked in frequently to be sure everything was good and we had everything we needed. I will be back and recommend to all my friends! If I had 1 complaint I guess I'd say the prices but in reality you get what you pay for all around here. It's worth it to me! I do not recommend this as a restaurant for kids. ☆☆☆☆☆“
“Adequate free parking. Convenient to running errands anywhere in West Des Moines. Excellent service. Reasonable price. Food was prettier and better than some other Texas Roadhouses - and the steak was as good as any $$$ restaurant. I'll be back. And they support their Veterans!!“
“Very cool new restaurant space within the upper and lower floor of a mixed residential commercial building. We were seated in the upper floor portion with a larger bar and seating area. The decor is very luxurious and contemporary. Service was A1, which is to be expected for the pricing. Steaks and sides were top notch, done to perfection. Great liquor selection for high end cocktails. Nothing about this place felt like a chain. The experience was unique to this location but keeping the expected quality of food and service.“
“First time dining here. Definitely glad I had made a reservation. There was a line of people who were walk-ins. The waiter we had was extremely courteous and very knowledgeable. Every suggestion he made was very delicious. Definitely going to make plans to go back.“
“Our dinner at John and Nicks was very enjoyable. The food was great and the service superb. You can't ask much more than that our if a restaurant. Lastly the wood paneling and lighting gave it a very warm atmosphere. Would give it a 41/2 star rating.“
