Always great food, Always a friendly smile, the food & service is what ppl go to restaurants for and GREAT food & GREAT service is definitely what you will receive here! The managers make sure the atmosphere is welcoming along with all the staff. Great place for all sizes of parties whether its 1 ppl to a latge group, they are always willing to accommodate and make it happen. This new restaurant has been booming & Im sure its ranked at #1 in the area so far! Soo happy my daughter has found her calling to serve as she continues her nursing studies! I definitely recommend everyone to check them out!!”

“My wife and I had the Queen of the Sea combo as part of the Valentine's Day special (there were three good-sized clusters of crab legs at the bottom of the bowl in the picture). Everything was perfect. We went with spicy house special sauce, and that was absolutely delicious. We also had the Cajun fries and crab rangoon, and they were great too. We were so full that we had to take the cheesecake to go, but that looked good too. The staff were super friendly and attentive. 10/10”

Like most Olive Garden restaurants, you knew the expectations coming through the doors. The food was hot and fresh but I wouldn't consider it gourmet.

“Fun place and friendly staff. Good for kids and family. Food and cooks were off during our lunch visit. Salad was good but more than some lettuce was brown; sandwich had old rubbery Swiss cheese and slab of chicken or turkey, and Margherita pizza had little flavor, a few tiny pieces of old basil, and doughy crust. A waste of a wood-fired oven. Go for fun, not food.”

“We are a group of 3 couples who pick a non chain restaurant to enjoy once a month. You’ve been on our radar. We called ahead to make sure we’d have a table as we drove 45 minutes Kindly she said she’d hold us a table. From the moment we stepped inside we received friendly exceptional service. Our waitress- sorry no name but the sweet blonde who’d just returned from Italy. She graciously waited on us From Reubens , Shepard pie, fish and chips ALL DELICIOUS. And great variety of drinks. Such a gem. The FOODIES will be back.”

“I went into this establishment Friday evening and the staff were very friendly. The service was fantastic and the food delicious. Even though they were super busy, they were very nice and didn’t rush me when I was ordering. I did notice that a person I assume is the owner was pacing around like a bull in a china cabinet and he was talking to who I assume is the manager and was extremely disrespectful to the manager. I don’t know if I could support a business where the owner isn’t good to his staff.”

“People are always quick to post the bad stuff so I’m here for all the good vibes long story short I had a not so good experiencing at Caribou a couple weeks ago I called I talked to Addie she apologised for the employee that was super rude and said that next time it was on the house. So let’s go to today, I pull up this morning and give her my rewards number and as soon as I get done with my phone number she’s like “Hi, Michelle” and she said my order “Iced turtle w/oatmilk and a honey lavender espresso shaker I was like yes!! Not only did she remember my exact order even two weeks later she also gave me both drinks on the house when I was only expecting one free! It’s honestly not even about the free drinks. It’s I love Caribou so much and go there so often that having those employees that are kind and welcoming is what I need since I haven’t been caffeinated yet!! Not only did I need that Monday morning pick me up but the fact that Addie was like super kind,super friendly, and personalised my order by remembering it just made a great start to my week so yeah Caribou, big shout out for amazing emoloyees and everyone needs an Addy!!”

“If you're looking for something that's not the commercialized same old, same old, that actually has flavor and quality you can taste, try DBC. I had a very hard time deciding on what to get but the macchiato and chocolate avalanche croissant did not disappoint. Will definitely be my go to when I'm back in the area again!”

“I stopped in here for the first time this past weekend after eating at Iowa Athletic Club. I wanted to try C& D after having Crumbl a couple of times recently. While Crumbl was good, the Snickerdoodle Cheesecake (I think that's the name) cookie I chose from C&D was hands down the best dessert I've EVER had! 10/10, phenomenal. It's now going to live tent-free in my head!”

“Every time we come here everything is on point. Service from the hostess to the waitress is fantastic. And the food omg the food is always delicious, hot and fresh. About 3 months ago had their Monte Cristo which so damn good. Their onion rings are huge and very tasty.
Their chicken sandwich is one of the best of I have ever had. Their breading on their chicken breast was absolutely amazing and flavorful. Pickles were very good and the mayo had some nice flavor to it as well. It's a must got to every time we are in Coralville. So go if you have a chance”

“I was looking forward to meeting a friend for lunch today since I hadn’t been to The Vine in a LONG time. It’s a great place but I was disappointed-I ordered the fish and chips since it was one of their specials, the French fries were COLD and the fish was a bit greasy, not a fan of the coleslaw in this case. Our server was great, it would have been nice if he’d had a little more help! I’m willing to try again, hoping to not have a repeat experience…”

“The quality of our local steak and shakes have significantly improved along with the staff. Much cleaner, tastes better, and even seems more filling than it used to. On top of that the new company policies like banning microwaves, beef tallow for their fried goods, and grass fed beef for the burgers. It went downhill a while ago but I can definitely say it has done a complete 360 and has honestly been one of our families favorite quick fast food locations now. Definitely better than McDonald's.”

“Selection and cleanliness are both great but the reason I wanted to review was actually for the mother’s room- it is my first time using one provided by HyVee and it was so nice! It was private and comfortable. There was a place to nurse, change the diaper and wash hands all in one place. It was unexpectedly very nice and I am grateful. We were able to get our groceries AND take care of our four month old 💕”

“I came to Iowa City for a sleep study and they ended the sleep study at 330am. I hung at the hospital for a bit cause I was on the motorcycle and didn’t feel like starting the trip home in the middle of the night. Eventually I went to look for breakfast and I found this place open, and am I sure glad I did. I walked in and the manager was an absolute saint. Said I could sit in here and hang out for a bit to allow the sun time to come up. Then she made me the most amazing bagel sandwich (which I didn’t know were a thing). I will definitely come back here when I’m Iowa City, now that I know it’s here. If you get the chance, y’all owe it to yourselves to at least try it.”

“Scratch Cupcakery is absolutely amazing! I've been here several times, and I'm never disappointed. Their cupcakes are always fresh, moist, and packed with flavor. Today I tried the Snickerdoodle Cookie Cupcake, and it was one of the best cupcakes I've ever had. It had the perfect balance of cinnamon and sweetness, and the frosting was incredible. If I had bought a dozen, they probably would've been gone before I even left the store! The staff is always friendly, and the shop has a fun, welcoming atmosphere. If you're looking for high-quality cupcakes that taste homemade, Scratch Cupcakery is a must-visit. I can't wait to come back and try more flavors!”
