“Celebrated my 70th birthday here last Friday night and the food/service was spectacular. They really catered to us. The six of us shared the charcuterie board and devoured it (plenty for six people though). The Chilean Sea Bass, Filet, Salmon, and Short Ribs were excellent. The flourless chocolate cake and bread pudding were very good. Highly recommend this place. Thanks to Hannah for providing us top notch service.”

While staying at an adjacent hotel, I much enjoyed dining in, convivial conversations at the bar over a craft IPA, then taking out more. The Kick Up Coleslaw and Plabano Rice are new favorites.”

“03/26/25- Our first time at Olive Garden in 20 years and this location has got to be the best one in the country, large super clean dining room, building was well maintained and we loved the decor. The service from our server was fantastic and the food was hot, full of flavor and bountiful. The 3 of us were blown away by how great our dining experience was!!”

“We are a group of 3 couples who pick a non chain restaurant to enjoy once a month. You’ve been on our radar. We called ahead to make sure we’d have a table as we drove 45 minutes Kindly she said she’d hold us a table. From the moment we stepped inside we received friendly exceptional service. Our waitress- sorry no name but the sweet blonde who’d just returned from Italy. She graciously waited on us From Reubens , Shepard pie, fish and chips ALL DELICIOUS. And great variety of drinks. Such a gem. The FOODIES will be back.”

Salad was good but more than some lettuce was brown; sandwich had old rubbery Swiss cheese and slab of chicken or turkey, and Margherita pizza had little flavor, a few tiny pieces of old basil, and doughy crust. A waste of a wood-fired oven. Go for fun, not food.”

“The NEW Foundry in North liberty is AMAZING!! Always great food, Always a friendly smile, the food & service is what ppl go to restaurants for and GREAT food & GREAT service is definitely what you will receive here! The managers make sure the atmosphere is welcoming along with all the staff. Great place for all sizes of parties whether its 1 ppl to a latge group, they are always willing to accommodate and make it happen. This new restaurant has been booming & Im sure its ranked at #1 in the area so far! Soo happy my daughter has found her calling to serve as she continues her nursing studies! I definitely recommend everyone to check them out!!”

I did notice that a person I assume is the owner was pacing around like a bull in a china shop and I saw him speaking very disrespectfully to one of his managers. “This was my first time trying soft pretzels and I got 2: a classic and a cinnamon sugar. The guy behind the counter was friendly and quickly made my order. The classic one was pretty good, but I found it to be a lot more salty than I expected. The cinnamon sugar one however was really good and I throughly enjoyed it.

“Noodles and Company is a great spot for lunch or dinner. My original review reported that they have lots of vegetarian options. On my recent trip, however, I discovered that many of the originally vegetarian dishes now contain chicken. Presumably, you could ask them to remove the chicken, although I doubt the price would drop to reflect that. There are also optionsade with zucchini noodles ("zoodles"). They have several types of mac and cheese as well as an "asian noodles" selection.

Vegetarian options: There are a good number of vegetarian dishes available. I haven't eaten here for several years, and I remember the menu as being all vegetarian with the option to add meat. Now the menu is a mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.”
