“The service was a little slow, but considering that we were there In the early afternoon on the Tuesday before Christmas, it's totally understandable. You brought our entrées out and got my order wrong, but was quick to remedy the situation, and when it came out, my food was phenomenal. Very hot and fresh. The atmosphere is very cool reminded me of a "new wave" Mexican restaurant. Wasn't busy but there again, were there in early afternoon and it happened to be a Tuesday. But according to some of my friends that live in the IRL, it's never really that busy, so do yourself a favor and head on over there and give them a shot!!! Speaking of which, they do have some really good tequilas as well.“
“Our drinks were crafted by a gentleman named Richard. He made a great old fashion. The late night menu was nice to see, however, the kitchen did subpar on delivery. We orderedrd the chip and dip trio type of thing and it looked like we got the end of the chip bag.“
“I was with a large party tonight. Reservations had been made, and we were granted our request to sit near a big screen tv. Love our Iowa Women's basketball! My meal was $16 and larger than I'd imagined (grilled pork loin sandwich). Hot, crisp fries. The pork was tender and not greasy. Fresh lettuce, pickles, and tomatoes.I can't have alcohol and ordered a virgin drink. The server suggested half piña colada, half strawberry daiquiri. I ordered 2 and should have asked if they would still charge $12 each. They did. Lesson learned.While at Tavern Blue, the owner came out and visited with us. He took a photo of our table ( with our permission, of course) in honor of it being International Women's Day. A very nice guy! What else? The women's restroom was very clean and well-stocked. I highly recommend Tavern Blue!Kid-friendliness: There is miniture golf, a giant Connect Four game, a jetski for kids to pose and play on... check out the photos!Wheelchair accessibility: Very spacious seating that allows for many different configurations of tables and chairs. “I ordered from door dash and got the Carnitas Verde as well as a queso. It arrived warm and within a reasonable time. I was immediately put off by the color of the verde sauce and the refried beans but with no option I persisted. The food is exactly why we shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. The food was delicious some of the best carnitas verde I have ever had. Will definitely order again!!“
“What a fun upbeat place. The decor is unique and a very spacious area. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. They do not serve food but you can bring your own snacks and food in. Fun cute space. The only downfall I see is the parking is difficult.“
“Everything I have tried here is really good, and the food they sell down at the farmers market is out of this world delicious. The owners are kind and make you feel welcome, as do the employees. Last time I was in they had added some fantastic art. I cannot recommend this place enough!“

They have also done some personal stuff for our birthday events as well and you can truly tell the staff are passionate about the food there and know their stuff. “The barbacoa tacos were excellent street corn also amazing. I ordered ceveche which didn’t have any avocado or tomatoes just cilantro and onion kinda disappointing considering the price of the dish but I’ll be back for the tacos fer sure!“
“Love this place! You can bring your own food in and play board games with your friends! Bartenders are very knowledgeable. They have a wide variety of high-end and low-end liquor! It's definitely a spot you should try! I recommend the Pom Smoked Manhattan! Great for date night!“
