“My mom and I ended up going here twice while we were in Dubuque. Delicious and reasonably priced cocktail selection, bottles of wine to purchase, friendly bartenders--bartender Fiona was incredibly personable and even remembered our names when we came back the second time. Awesome cocktail and wine bar!“
“We randomly stopped in on a Thursday evening for the first time. Before we entered there was a sign saying there was live music. We became skeptical because we have only experienced loud, obnoxious music in restaurants where you can't carry a conversation with anyone including the server. However we were surprised. The music was not overbearing and it was relaxing folk type music including Jimmy Buffet classics. Our server was amazing even getting our order correct, helping make adjustments to fit our dietary needs. The food was amazing. I had the Bank Burger and I am still thinking about how good it was a day later. We can't wait to come back.“
“The best karaoke, not just in town but in the area. Friendly atmosphere. Good drink menu an they have burgers, fries and pizzas. Large establishment so very seldom does it get overcrowded. Bean bags, darts and pool. On the mane strip so if traveling through Dubuque check it out, or miss out.“
“Not knowing there would be a valentines day special menu (only thought there was the special) we arrived to a very limited menu. My favorite item is the chopped salad and my girlfriends was the Thai pasta dish. Neither was on the menu. No biggie we tried the special menu. The bacon salad I had was good and Lobster bisque was great. Filet with mushrooms and onion was good as was my dates. I guess it did not have the wow factor we have come to expect when eating at the Woodfire. We been there a dozen times throughout the years, I always get a steak of some type and always on special occasions, birthdays etc. This was the first time I was tempted to ask for steak sauce. The lump crab Kim had on the filet looked like it was just thrown on top with no rhyme or reason. She loved the baked potato. Of course the straight up martini was excellent. I would give our waitress Lily an score of 150 as she was one of the best we have ever had. Give her a raise :).“
“Finally, a place with Guiness on tap! This is a great place to hangout in, drink pints of Guiness while drafting your fantasy football players. We didn't eat here, so we can't review the food; however, the atmosphere and staff were very pleasant. Highly recommend.“
