I'd definitely return to this spot - if we still lived in Iowa! Food was solid. Sometimes it's hard to find delicious Mexican food outside CA (and Tejás). But this place quinched our thirst. And of course, complimentary chips and salsa are always a plus!

Food is very good, portions are very nice and prices are decent. This tastes like real Mexican food, not the Tex mex stuff. Always quiet and very spacious, my favorite Mexican in the area. We like to take it to go and eat at home and it's always the right order and super hot.

We’ve had to be in the city several times in this past year and have made the rounds eating at several Mexican restaurants. When I tell you the food at El Dorado is divine I mean it! Perfect rice and beans. Amazing carne asada. All the food is seasoned well and really deserves more recognition. My only regret it living so far away that I may not eat there again for a couple of month. Please give this place a try

Good food, every time the wife and I go in we say we're going to try something different. We don't, we always get the Cajun shrimp tacos cause they're delish! Have had other items on the menu which are also good but keep coming back to our fave. Their jumbo margaritas are good too.

Usually my favorite place for Mexican! I always get the steak tacos with lettuce and cheese but I am never charged extra for the lettuce and cheese but today I was. I understand with what’s going on things go up and change but I’d like to know that cost extra. In addition to that our chips and drinks went unfilled the entire time until id say 15 minutes went by with no new drink, no new chips, no check up that my partner then went to the rest room to find our server just sitting on her phone:( after he came back she then came back to check on us with new chips thankfully. After another 10 minutes making this almost 30 we finally get our food. Mind you we are the only people in the entire restaurant at this point. And she doesn’t even come and check on us until we are done eating and he takes our child out to the car she then comes up to the table. I’m absolutely dissatisfied and not to the food she never checked on was not okay. Tried to contact about it but no one called me.

Nice Mexican restaurant with amazing food. Their michelada is pretty good. I had a vegetarian meal which was overall good. I would say they should improve their services so that customers do not have to wait longer. Over all good place and it is recommended.

We love the chiles rellenos, husband and i always share the Vegetarian plate that has 2 with rice and beans. Also we ask for the guacamole salad to go with out chiles. Our daughter loves the beef taco salad even if it's just beef, sour cream and shredded cheese she eats everything does not leave a crumb. We always get excellent service every time we're there.
