“This is a family owned/operated food place and they treat everyone like they are regulars and friends. The food is good and they definitely accommodate food requests and even remember them if you are a repeat customer. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat!“
“This place seemed well run. Cheerful helpful staff. You probably know what you are getting from this chain but we got in and out pretty quick. Outside of the trash bin out front that needs a change, I think this was a pretty good place with plenty indoor and outdoor seating“
“Actually what we purchased was very good this time, last time we stopped and had a fish sandwich, and a concrete mixer, the fish looked like it was quickly thrown together, very un appetizing that's for sure, staff was more intent on arguing over which bin the French fries belonged in ( how stupid)--maybe need more customer service training on what or what is not approiate behavior when you are in front of customers....I also watched the staff wipe off the extra ice cream with his apron--is that common practice?.. a clean napkin would have worked..training is important, or watching the staff on videos, to show what is or is not acceptable--we don't live close..I like their products, but adjustments could be changed..thanks“
“The restaurant was conveniently located near our hotel, and since the one near us in suburban Indianapolis had closed a few years ago (and we missed it), we decided to stop here before leaving town on the Sunday after we'd been in Coralville for a weekend event. The biggest change we noticed was that self-service screens have replaced the write-on sandwich bags for ordering. I kind of miss the bags, but loved the convenience of the screens. There were several stations, and one was open when we walked in, so we were able to walk right up and place our order. There are also many more choices than there used to be, which we loved.I had the Reubenwich and my husband had the Wicked. Both were good. The selection of soft drinks was okay. I was disappointed there wasn't a cherry cola choice (Dr Pepper is not this, I mean like Cherry Coke Zero or similar), so I had the Root Beer, which was a nice change of pace, by not my first choice. The sandwiches were ready fairly quickly, and the seating was comfortable. Our only complaint was that even though the restaurant wasn't very busy, our table hadn't been cleaned off and we had to brush away a few crumbs. I was okay with it this time, but during the height of Covid that would have been a huge deal.“
“Nice smell upon walking in. I came ordered food and blizzards for me and my family. It was 2 workers seem pretty busy for just 2 people. Very friendly they also apologized for the wait when they brought our food and thanked me for my patience.“
“I stopped at the 811 S 1st Ave, Iowa City location. The ice cream was excellent and the young lady that served me was very courteous & friendly. This lady needs a pat on the back (and bonus) from the boss. She was busy cleaning the windows, tending to the machines. sweeping the floors (3/1/24), when not helping customers. She got a tip from me.Kid-friendliness: Excellent“
“We love coming to this place for incredible ice cream. The servings are bountiful and the quality of ice cream is fantastic. It's a really fun place to bring kids and the old building is clean and fun to sit in. This is a great business and a perfect location in North Liberty. Leaving this review makes me hungry for ice cream again! Can't wait to go back“
“I didn’t take at tour I just shopped for ice cream, fudge and cheese curds. The Ice cream: so I’m a 5’9” adult male on the slim side and I got two “calf” scoops one vanilla and one chocolate ice cream. And it’s enough. Omg the chocolate ice cream!!! It’s so rich. It’s amazing, the vanilla ice cream is light in its vanilla flavor very pleasant, but the chocolate takes the cake I’m really impressed by how chocolaty it actually is!!! You know what the vanilla ice cream flavor reminds me of ? Frosted Circus animal cookies.Cheese curds where great. I’m from the neck of the woods in Iowa where we have Hansen’s dairy cheese curds. These curds where comparableAgain my neck of the woods has a scheels with fudge this kalona creamery fudge was comparable. I just got the plain fudge and it was delectable ????“
“I got two flavors: Cake batter and Strawberries & cream. I topped it with strawberry slices, strawberry popping pearls, and yogurt chips. There are about 10 yogurt flavors, but maybe 50 different toppings, so it's highly customizable. The store is local and eco conscious, the staff are friendly, and there are options for those with dietary restrictions such as dairy-free, gluten-free, soy-free, and vegan.Price is by weight, so be careful how you fill your dish. The yogurt pumps are self-serve and go fast, so it's easy to accidentally leave little room for toppings or buy more yogurt than you meant to.Dietary restrictions: Dairy-free, soy-free, gluten-free, lowfat, and/or vegan options.“
“For fast food, this place is exceptional. Good is great for price, people are nice, rarely a line or wait, fabulous pup cups. This is literally the only restaurant with a window I will patronize. My only complaint is I sometimes get sweet tea when I order unsweetened tea.“
