First off , the hours aren't updated on Google, to start my experience we showed up to a closed breakfast place at 10:00 am to a note saying Tues 11am open... The least ypu can do is change your hours to reflect online so people don't make a trip for nothing . Upon walking in at 11:30 after killing an hour to wait for them to open the host wasn't very friendly and I mentioned the hours issue nicely and he basically didn't care what I said . Next he handed us menus and didn't bother to let us know it was only lunch being served .... I showed up for shrimp and grits but apparently its only done on Sundays only according to the old menu ... when I went to order after 10 min of deciding for the children I was told lunch only... Very unhappy and left it wasn't a good start and as a business owner, the place it started for me was the Google listing for times, that is easily changed through your email for the Google profile.

I finally stopped by Bayside Bistro in Rock Island and my only regret is that it took me so long. I had the grilled shrimp po’boy and it was absolutely delicious. The shrimp were big and perfectly cooked. The bread was fresh and the sauce was tangy. I can’t wait to go back and try something else.

We spent $65.00 for 3 people to eat lunch...ok deal with that if the service and food are good. Neither was. Rude employees...did not get part of our order, upon telling the worker a young guy came out and said he would get what we were missing at no charge. No charge! We already paid for it. It never came! They just ignored us! Only people inside or outside dining was us! Then the guy has the audacity to tell us they need a $10.00 tip! Can't make this stuff up! needless to say we won't be returning customers!

We knew up front that they were short a cook, no worries, but the coffee and fresh squeezed juice took 25 minutes to come out that’s crazy. I received my meal and when I inquired about my coffee and juice I got attitude. The kid delivering plates would stand next to you not saying a work, expecting you to take your food off his tray.

SUPER CUTE!!! And food was super delicious! Was on a road trip back to the east coast and stopped through to pick up breakfast. Town is scenic, this place is so lovely and spacious. Tish, the owner, is super welcoming and helpful. I ordered the breakfast bowl (eggs, potatoes, sourdough bread, and bacon) with the Dancing Berry smoothie). Yuuuuuuuuuuuuum! My two friends both ordered the veggie sandwich and loved it...they also had the Pina colada and bayside breeze smoothies respectively. We left super satisfied...so much so that one of them ordered a second veggie sandwich! Would love to come back & I recommend this place highly!

Out bumming in Iowa and decided to eat lunch. The area had many restaurants and bars to choose from, but we thought we liked the sound of "Bistro". What an excellent choice we made!! We were totally impressed with the Po' Boy and Meaty Beach! The bread for the sandwiches were amazing and such a great compliment to the sandwiches! We were also able to talk to the owner for a couple minutes. What a very friendly and personable man!! The staff was friendly and attentive. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely eat there again!
Amazing food. Got the Po' Boy and strawberry squeeze smothie. The Po'Boy was the right amount of spice, that you wanna keep eating. The smoothie was the best snoothie I ever had. Hits the spot.

A delicious, generously portioned meal, packed full of unique flavors -- that's what awaited me at Bayside Bistro. The owner was gracious and welcoming, the staff were attentive, and my only disappointment was not being able to try a dessert.Looking forward to a return trip to sit on the patio and enjoy one of the fresh squeezed juices again!

Best shrimp and grits I've had since moving up north. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. Service had a hard time getting into a rhythm and can take some time but staff was friendly and welcoming and the food was excellent.

Such a great family business! I ordered smoothies for my office-mates and we all wanted to try the different flavors. Everyone loved what they got and said they were delicious! The customer service was very friendly and accommodating! We will definitely be back and can’t wait to try other items on the menu!
