The cajun bake was very tasty and the bread with it was amazing!!! The hollandaise for the eggs Benedict was lacking and the cheesy hashbrowns needed some salt and pepper. Coffee was good. Service was good. Would be five stars if the hollandaise and potatoes were properly seasoned. Definitely go back, just not for those 2 items.

I was pleasantly surprised with my meal at Cafe Indigo, excuse me, Indigo Grill. I remember years ago that I didn't really care for it all that much, even turning up my nose many times at the suggestion of going there for a meal. But my Cajun grouper was very good. And my wife was very happy with her grilled salmon beet salad. The menu was interesting and diverse - it would be tough not to find something that you didn't like on the menu. OK, I'm sold. Indigo Grill is back in our rotation.

Did this restaurant get new owners? I used to love the food and setting but not this last recent lunch visit. I had the pistachio chicken salad and the meat was tough and dry. Globs of nasty cheese on the salad. My good friend went with me and later admitted she did not like her chicken sandwich due to toughness and flavor. I felt guilty since it was my idea to go with my "lunch ladies " group. Not on the list for future visits! Service was slooow.

We frequently come to Bettendorf to visit family. For some reason it’s been difficult to find good restaurants in the area. Cafe Indigo is an exception. The food is always fresh and well prepared; there is enough variety to suit everyone in the family. At lunch today the six of us ordered sandwiches, burgers, chicken Alfredo, a salad and salmon. Everyone enjoyed their food. We will keep returning for consistently good food!

It's definitely an interesting place. But we were seated without a reservation but would strongly recommend making one because it's with it. The food was amazing and the service was superb. We will definitely consider them to nourish our bodies next time we're in the QCA.
