Vegetarian Restaurants in Decorah

“We are always looking for restaurants that serve healthy real food that also offers gluten free and vegetarian/vegan options and this one is excellent. I loved the bowl I ordered: the perfect blend of ginger, peanut and cilantro atop rice with broccoli, pickled onions and shredded carrot with a flavorful sauce…yum. Our whole family enjoyed our meals. We also got cookies and my only regret is that I didn’t buy more. The GF ginger molasses one I got was so good. We live far away, but I will keep this on my list of places to return. If only all towns had a place like this! “Always a fun destination! Good food, good service, fun vibe, and good beers. Great outdoor seating when weather allows, huge indoor venue with plenty of seating downstairs. Found out too late that they give brewery tours - will definitely come back for that.Service is always great for as many people they hold. Our server today, Alex, had multiple large tables (10+) and several smaller tables and did a fantastic job with all of us!Food: today I had the southwest chicken wrap and fries - very tasty and fresh. Fries were crispy and delicious when dipped in their homemade ranch. Husband had a bacon cheeseburger and said it was delicious also. We’ve had apps and pizza before and always pleased!Beer: husband went with his usual Pompei and I had the orange seltzer. Both yummy!We browsed through the gift shop on our way out. Didn’t purchase but they do have some unique things. Takeout beer counter was constantly packed.All in all, TG never disappoints!“

“Mabes is a decades-long family favorite. Whenever we're near Decorah, we make a point to stop by Mabes for a large-regular pizza. What is a regular, you ask? That's a thin crust pepperoni and sausage pizza, and it's my family's favorite.The service is always fast and friendly too.I can't speak to other items on the menu because we are creatures of habit, but we've never been disappointed.“
