I ordered a jalapeno pretzel. So black chick was working that's not the word I wanted to use. Anyway when she gave me my change she laid it all on the counter so I waited to see if she put the white people's money in there hand and just as I suspected she put it in the hand But laid my money on the counter. Older black chick with grey hair

The people who work here are very rude and intimidating, I literally saw the cashier yell at a customer who was confused and needed help and then I saw the cashier tell another customer "we don't have time to be making smoothies" when he asked for a smoothie. I felt nervous going up to the register to claim my free pretzel because of the bad vibes. I was afraid I'd get yelled at for ordering a free pretzel and "wasting their time" or something. It makes things go through your head when dealing with such unpleasant people. They act like everything is an inconvenience. I don't care how busy you are, don't act this way. It can ruin a person's day. I see several other reviews stating people had very bad customer service experiences here, it really needs to be addressed by whoever management is.

I recently visited Auntie Anne's at Merle Hay, and I must say, I was disappointed with the experience. The place seemed quite dirty, with trash on the floor and tables that seemed like they hadn't been wiped down in a while. On top of that, the personnel seemed quite lazy. I saw several employees standing around, not doing much, while the line of customers grew longer and longer. It was frustrating to see that there wasn't much effort being put into making sure everything was clean and organized. As a frequent customer, I hope that these issues can be addressed. I understand that running a store can be challenging, but cleanliness and efficiency should not be compromised. I hope that my feedback can be taken into consideration and that improvements can be made in the future.

I love the almond pretzels, but the people who work here are awful. As someone who also works in the service industry, I completely understand off days, people who are tired, and even students who just don't enjoy human interaction. My bar is very low and my only expectation really is a quick and smooth transaction. Just let me get what I need and I'll go, but the last time I came here, there was a worker on their personal phone taking a call. They walked up to the register, typed some stuff in, looked at me, and walked away. I stood there confused until eventually another worker came up to help me. My previous visits before this weren't the greatest, but I could atleast get what I wanted and go.

Was there this morning wanted pretzel bites was waited on by the rudest young lady I have ever met in my life absolutely no people skills at all. Just her voice said I’m rude go screw yourself. I will never buy anything from your establishment again and I’m gonna make you famous on Facebook.

Went in just after 4pm on a Sunday and hours said open til 5:30pm but the lady told my husband they were already closed down. There were people in line, too and they just kept saying it was closed.

If the store ran out of business than it would be the manager's lack of incompetency, and absolute laziness. I was lost, and went to pick up at this location manager gives me attitude, don't know how to describe the whereabouts of the store. Dude at front counter refuse to talk to me and do not want any sell. I pray you ran out of business soon because you deserved it. Third class services and laziness. You do not deserve my money.

Very poor customer service, I was there waiting to buy your food, and the server Mary and her supervisor who was a male , it was 401 p.m on labor day wanted to judge and make fun of paying customer . They were talking about a person with a disability. Very disappointing they don't know what that person is going through or what ever. Who are they to Judge. Very sad. All of the misjudgment in the world. I will definitely not be coming back .

I hate to be a j*** about stuff, but I got some cinnamon pretzel bites for my kids today and noticed they hadn't eaten many - tried them and they were *hard*! Just burnt! Very bad. Honestly, the staff seemed completely checked out too. I hope they can turn it around, but for the moment I wouldn't suggest going here to anyone.

So sad to post this, but I hope the Merhle Hay team learns from this post. merhle hay Auntie Anne’s is unsanitary. I was waiting behind a customer paying in cash. The cashier proceeded to handle the cash and coins, without removing his gloves. He then took my order, and proceeded to handle my pretzel without removing his gloves. I had to ask him to remove his gloves before handling my food. As a customer, please practice good hygiene. It is disgusting to handle money AND handle food without discarding gloves or washing hands. The cashier then removed his gloves, but proceeded to handle my pretzels with tongs and his BARE hands. I wanted to leave right there— but my 5 year old was with me so we accepted the food. I understand staffing is short, but please train your employees to Do better. Until Auntie Anne’s in merhle hay mall improves their hygiene practices, we will not be going back.
