“This is undoubtedly the best dining establishment in des moines period. The staff are rop notch professionals and the food is a level above anything else outside 801 Grand. They make all of our special occasions amazing and the oyster selection is better than waterfront even. 6 or 7 different varieties isn't uncommon and all have tasting notes. Tuesday all nite happy hour is to die for. Try a vodka Martini extra dirty w/ Blu cheese olives. A dozen oysters for 24$ and the chefs choice charcuterie. Then a 5$ poutine with the same wine braised beef in the 30$ menu option! But with chunks of iowa farm cheese curds. This place is a solid 6 stars out of 5!! “Easy access from downtown Des Moines Marriott. We had burritos on special one day. Good flavor but overpowered by too many green peppers. Egg scramble another morning was great. My buddy loved the croissant and bread options. Will go back .“
