We order from this location every chance we get. Orders taken by phone, polite, courteous service. Orders are always labeled with names (important in a corporate setting) and delivery is ON TIME, every time. Love these guys. Worst Jimmy John’s in Iowa.First, wouldn’t accept an Apple Pay through the drive-thru because they “aren’t liable for phones”?, so I literally had to park my car and go in the restaurant to pay for my food. LOL.Second, without telling me, they almost charged me $3 to swap ham for roast beef? Wow.Lastly, the employees were very rude & unhelpful. Oh and to top it off, they gave me a completely flat soda.This establishment should be dissolved immediately to make space for LOCAL business owners.

The food is fantastic, but the service needs improvement. I ordered Jimmy John's for lunch during a recent business trip and picked the closest location which was a 2 minute drive from my hotel. I received confirmation in the app that they received my ordered at 12:07pm. Per the app, it went out for delivery at 12:44pm. At 1:11pm, I called the store to check on my order and was told that the driver was en route and should be arriving shortly. At 1:46pm, I called to check on my delivery again and was told they only have one driver delivering their 14 orders. They reported that he should be there soon and apologized for the delay. I appreciate the apology, but would have preferred not to have to wait 2 hours for delivery of my lunch (which arrived at 1:55pm). Jimmy John's used to brand itself as having fast delivery, but they must have pivoted away from that. Even so, 2 hours for delivery seems outrageous and should be communicated to customers at some point.

They didn't have Bread. This sandwich shop didn't have bread and they don't tell you on the app or anything. Thanks for taking my money. Boo, tomato tomato, oh wait you're probably out of those too.

NOT Freaky Fast Delivery. Walk-in if you need your sandy in a reasonable amount of time.

It took 2 hours to deliver a single sandwich and bag of chips less than half a mile. I called after one hour and was told it was already on the way.

Glad we weren't in a time crunch!I get we ordered during a busy time, but we were .3 miles from this Jimmy Johns. I'm still waiting an hour later for our food and holding back hungry dancers! No more freaky fast Jimmy Johns??

I placed my order and after 1 hr 40 min I called the store to cancel my order. Yhe woman that answered the phone sounded like she did not care, asked me if a certain address was correct, provided her the correct address and all I got was I'll let the driver know in a very annoyed tone. Ironically the address she asked me about is a friends house who ordered after my but got their order first. Terrible customer service. I have seen District Managers deliver orders for other locations IN DES MOINES si at this I think being short staffed is just the excuse they use.

If I could give a negative star amount I definitely would…..CUSTOMER SERVICE INSIDE THE STORE AS WELL AS WITH THE DELIVERY DRIVER TODAY IS BEYOND ME…..I Ordered food at 11:03 by 11:14 it was marked out for delivery by 12:15 still no delivery so I called to ask where my order was got placed on hold for 10 mins while on lunch break so I hung up and called back tried to place me on hold again I said umm no I wanted to know where my order was dude replied with “uhhhh right here” I said so your telling me that my food has been just sitting there for over a hour getting “nasty” he replied with yup I said just cancel that I’m not paying or eating something that has been sitting there for that long…..about 10 minutes later the world rudest driver shows up like nothing is wrong when I stated I had canceled that order he snatched up the order and made a rude comment while walking out the door to my job…..then I tried to call and speak to the manager got placed on hold for 30 mins called back placed on hold again but I’m at work I can’t hold like that so I had to hang up

What a disappointment. I ordered online at 11:53 am. Knowing it's peak delivery time, at 12:20 I called to see where my order was in the delivery schedule so I had an idea of it's ETA. I stated my last name and address and was told that my order was out for delivery and that it should only be a few more minutes before it arrived. LIES. I waited another 40 minutes with out a delivery before I had to get on a bus. I asked the front desk clerk to hold on to the delivery once it arrived. 6 hours later I returned to the hotel and... IT NEVER ARRIVED. No email stating the order was cancelled, nothing. I'm very disappointed in their lack of communication.
