So to start, the waiter I got was cool but hearing, and I quote, “I don’t know how to read this” when it comes to an ID is concerning, especially since the restaurant sells alcohol. Regardless I’m willing to cut the waiter some slack especially after how well he manages his position, well to me anyway. The waiter gets the manager (which is good) and the manager looks at it and then asks for my DOB (date of birth), this is the first time I’ve ever been asked for it in regards to my ID. However I wasn’t bothered, I managed to say it, stuttering, but I say it. Given I’m not a socially active person and I used to work with people I knew well, and thankfully I don’t have to work anymore, I mainly talk with people who are my closest, like family or friends. The manager, OUT LOUD, says “Oh so this IDs a fake?” And I get hit with a glare, for obvious reasons I’m shocked, I’m not only embarrassed given it’s a public setting and I don’t want to appear as one of those people in front of the general public, but upset that I get disrespected because, and I’m only assuming it’s for this reason, I stuttered saying my DOB. I have been to distillery’s and many other restaurants where I have drank. My response is “But it’s not a fake” and clearly the manager doesn’t care and just gives me my ID back. To which I’m restricted to water, if I wasn’t in a party of two others I would’ve just walked out the door. Surely it couldn’t have been hard to say, “I’m sorry, but I can’t verify your ID so just drink something else”. I’m paying for food, drink, and service, not to be accused of something and be disrespected. However we stay because I’m with this party, and the waiter apologizes profusely, saying that the owner could suffer the cost of $10k if they served a minor alcohol, now that was nearly word for word, but I won’t quote it given I feel as if I could be missing a word or two. Though I do feel like if the owner wishes to not suffer something like that, then, simply put, DO. NOT. SELL. ALCOHOL. Especially when you have worker(s) who can’t properly read an ID, but that’s just my opinion on the matter, especially when it could create less problems like my situation apparently created. Back to my experience, the waiter was very nice, took me asking for food to actually start getting food, but I won’t hold that against the restaurant or the waiter, sometimes there are human error in these things, like he forgot and already needed to manage other tables. I told him what we wanted, he got me a water and the rest their drinks. We ate our appetizer and I have to say, it tasted like something straight out of the freezer. It tasted like something I used to eat as a kid when I would just put stuff in the microwave while my family did their business, which was nostalgic for me I have to say. The burger I got wasn’t much of an upgrade either, the only thing that made it good was the ketchup, maybe I’ve grown picky or something, but it just wasn’t good without ketchup acting as a sweetener to make it bearable. The waiter brought me a refill without me asking which was very, very kind. I honestly believe that was the highlight of my time there, besides my foot stepping outside whenever we left of course. After we ate, we left. And I tipped the waiter heavily, for the kindness shown, because I have the money to and mainly because I knew I’d never come back.I hope everyone else has a better time than me, because I don’t think I would go back there willingly. The disrespect, the lack of quality food, your best bet is to choose somewhere else. I hope the place gets better and maybe others will get to enjoy it, because I most certainly had my first terrible restaurant experience here. Hope everyone has a good day and goodbye

The waiters were quite friendly, however the food was vile. I found dirty curly brown hairs in my burger! After calmly addressing the issue to the waiter I was assured a new dish. Though, to my disgust my plate this time was clearly unwashed and hairy. I requested to speak with the man who made my dish. Carson Hanson. The young man clearly couldn’t take constructive criticism on his cooking techniques and rudely addressed me as “dumb***”. Just appalling in the moment right now. You never know what’s someone’s going through. Hopefully this young man doesn’t test the wrong person or he’s in for a rude awakening.

Family dinner, most of us got the pork tenderloin sandwich, and watching IA girls basketball. Can't get any better than that.Kid-friendliness: Lots of games to try, just bring your quarters.

Better then your average sports bar. They have quite a few TV's around to watch the sports games. There is an arcade area for the kids with prizes to win.

Would not recommend, food was not great, waitress screwed up a kids drink, brought us the correct one but charged extra for it! Was not offered any refills on drinks nor asked if we wanted anymore alcohol beverages, didn't bring sauces for the kids meals, cheese sauces so spicy nobody ate them. Do not recommend nachos unless you like extremely spicy food! Have no desire to return

Waiter got order wrong after I specifically said what I wanted twice. I also only ordered the “Not A Walking Taco” with just meat, Doritos, and cheese. Ended up getting lettuce, jalapeños, taco sauce, and sour cream. Would not come

We ate at the Sports Page during a recent visit to Ft. Dodge. The hand crafted burgers were excellent. My husband said it was the best burger he had eaten in a long time. The house made fries and onion rings were so good. The restaurant was very busy but we were seated right away. It seemed as if the wait staff did whatever jobs needed to be done such as hostess, waiter/waitress, and busboy. I hope people tip them generously because they definitely deserve it. This is a sports bar with multiple large TV's so it's pretty loud but we could still carry on a conversation. We will be back when we are visiting Dt. Dodge again.

The quality of the food and food choices has taken a dive. The lettuce is limp, and they didn't add all of the ingredients.

The food was not very good. Seemed that it was microwaved and not actually made to order. The bread was spongy. Can't say I'll go back. The server was nice. Not a fan of the new decor. Haven't lived in Fort Dodge for sometime. But we always went to the sportspage for family gatherings.
