It is a fabulous long time family owned restaurant. Known for their potato soup, but everything on the menu I've tried is so good. Fried chicken is superb. Portions are large, prices are reasonable. Support locally owned, the difference is amazing.
What can I say about the corn patch in Grimes other than DELICIOUS!! went there today for the all you can eat fried chicken dinner, along with that you get homemade potato soup, fresh bread that was warm and soft, and 2 sides of your choice, we both had salads I chose mashed potatoes and gravy, he chose green beans. We've been here a few times before but I always forget to take pictures. The food is fresh, hot and deliciously homemade

We stumbled upon The Corn Patch restaurant while running some errands in the Grimes area this evening, and we will definitely be making to trip again. The food was delicious servers were very polite and accommodating. This is a wonderful homestyle restaurant anyone looking for some American traditional food come hungry! The bread and soup alone would have kept me happy then our main entrees were fabulous.
