We stumbled upon The Corn Patch restaurant while running some errands in the Grimes area this evening, and we will definitely be making to trip again. The food was delicious servers were very polite and accommodating. This is a wonderful homestyle restaurant anyone looking for some American traditional food come hungry! The bread and soup alone would have kept me happy then our main entrees were fabulous.

Great food and Amy was a great server. She was friendly and polite. Checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Energetic and she was a delight to have Asa server.

It is a fabulous long time family owned restaurant. Known for their potato soup, but everything on the menu I've tried is so good. Fried chicken is superb. Portions are large, prices are reasonable. Support locally owned, the difference is amazing.

So much food and all good. My husband got his Liver and was tender. The Potato Soup is to die for.
My wife had the Liver & Onion Meal with side salad & cottage Cheese. And I had Ground Sirloin with cole slaw & Bake Potatoes. And they give you Potatoe Soup to.

I chose this place because it was close by and had good reviews. What they serve here is total comfort food. If you've ever eaten at a church dinner or supper club, you will be magically transported back there with a meal at the Corn Patch. The food was ok and lacked flavors I would expect, like garlic in the spaghetti sauce for example. The amount of food you get is amazing! Free refills on potato soup!Very friendly staff. Full bar. Assortment of arcade games in the bar area. Nice family restaurant.

What can I say about the corn patch in Grimes other than DELICIOUS!! went there today for the all you can eat fried chicken dinner, along with that you get homemade potato soup, fresh bread that was warm and soft, and 2 sides of your choice, we both had salads I chose mashed potatoes and gravy, he chose green beans. We've been here a few times before but I always forget to take pictures. The food is fresh, hot and deliciously homemade
