“I took a good amount of time evaluating local pizza places to try. Out of many of the top rated locations, most reviews expressed they all the locations at assorted pizza places went down hill after changing ingredients. I came across Breadeaux, I have driven past but never thought to try. The atmosphere was nice, with polite staff. The pizza was done relatively fast. The flavor was great, one of the top pizzas ive had around town. The bread sticks are what lower my rating of this place. Breadsticks are what I get hyped for. I was sad to see they were undercooked flavorless dough. Out of a large order of breadsticks, between my spouse and I we only had half of a single breadstick. Could definitely use some improvement! Otherwise I enjoyed my experience here- Wish theyd offer water as well, soda was all they had when I dined in“
“My brother’s recommended and raved about the Italian Beef sandwich, that is was delicious and that I would only want more after tasting it for the first time. Well, I admit they were right as the sandwich lived up to all of the hype as it was excellent!!“
“We order take out and was perfectly amazing. Best calamari EVER! I had the glazed almond spinach salad and my husband had the spicy seafood linguini. The best ever! They sent bread home with us also - so fresh and delish. We will be back - soon!“
“The food was excellent. One of the best steak deburgo I’ve had. The restaurant is small, so it gets really noisy. There was also no clear communication in where to go to get on the waitlist, you can’t wait at the bar so you have to go to a small waiting room down further in the strip mall. But again no one told us where to go to wait and there was no signage.“
“We get takeout from Papa's once a month. It's hard to say "no" to the best pizza ever. The homemade marinara is amazing, but my favorite pizza is the BBQ Chicken Pizza on thin crust. Plus, you've got to get the bread sticks...SO GOOD!“
“Best NY Pizza in the Midwest. I grew up in NY where freedom as a kid meant having $1 and being old enough to walk to the corner pizzaria on your own - or having $2 so you could bribe an older sibling to go with you if you weren't old enough to go alone. Plenty of places call themselves NY pizza, but don't come close. The pizza and pasta at TONY is authentic NY. The garlic knots and zepoles are perfect. It's our first stop whenever we're in Des Moines.“
“We actually got this restaurant confused with the one by Jordan Creek. To our surprise this place had a wonderful atmosphere and pleasant staff. They left us alone to enjoy the meal but got a quick conversation in as he delivered our food. Could ask for a better combination for a surprise night out. Thank you Andres.“
“Miss Fazolis, the one in Waterloo closed years ago and no one has tried to bring one back. The food was just as good as I remember it. The chicken Alfredo was delicious, just needs a bit more chicken ?.There was at times a smell, like a sewer smell, other than that it was 4 star good, no smell, 5 stars.“
“I was very impressed!!! I really enjoyed the privacy curtains. The food was very good cooked perfectly! the service was perfect as well very polite and checked in frequently to be sure everything was good and we had everything we needed. I will be back and recommend to all my friends! If I had 1 complaint I guess I'd say the prices but in reality you get what you pay for all around here. It's worth it to me! I do not recommend this as a restaurant for kids. ☆☆☆☆☆“
“Great noodles! Lots of great options for anyone, and they have fast table service to make sure you're well taken care of. Also right next to (my favorite) Caribou Coffee location! Convenient to just grab coffee and noodles and relax for a bit. Highly recommend!“
“We had an appetizer & pizza. Everything was awesome! We stepped outside our comfort zone & tried the pepperoni with pesto pizza. It was really tasty. Service was excellent & atmosphere was calm, but busy. Thanks for a great date night!!Parking: Plenty of spaces available with wide spots. No potholes or curbs to avoid.“
“OPA Italian & Greek for the win tonight! After being on vacation for Christmas and new years this is a great welcome home!!! Jon Ochoa and the staff were very welcoming! The place was packed! It was fun to get the suburban in the parking spot! The only thing I dislike here! I went out on a limb and got the Mediterranean steak over a bed of vegetables. I’m gonna try this fad diet again it’s the new year rite! The wife got our normal the chicken parmigiana Diablo! Gosh I love that dish but doing this low carb thing!! And of course gotta have the Cabernet to go with the meal!!!! Win win great service amazing food and where else can you go that feels like your at home!!!“
“Really great! It's possibly the best pizza I've had since we moved here. Order was placed and made ready at exactly the time they said it would be. Had two pizzas, wings, and salad. Everything tasted really good, only knock would be the wings were a little tough like they were cooked just a little too long. Will definitely be back.“
“I haven't been to happy joes in years! We moved and the kids wanted to try something different, 100% satisfied. I have ordered here twice since moving and the first time was excellent, second time had a couple bumps in the road but they resolved my issue. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful. They replaced my order and ensured it was delivered as my car was in the shop at the time. Highly recommend!“
“My husband and I had a fabulous dinner at Noah's tonight! We split the anti-pasto for two for our appetizer. I had the fried shrimp, baked potato, and dinner salad. My husband had the ravioli and dinner salad. For dessert we split a cannoli which the kitchen baked for us. It was soo good! Everything was perfectly prepared. Our server Denny was so nice and kept our food coming at the right time. If you haven't tried Noah's Ark, you should!“
“Ate at Christophers with a group of six in Beaverdale last night. Had a reservation at 7:30 and arrived about 15 minutes early so we went to the bar to get a drink. The owner, Ron, was bartending and was very friendly talking to everyone at the bar. He also gave the first round of drinks for free and thanked us multiple times for coming in. The food, as always, was incredible. We had the onion rings for an appetizer. They are thin type and were very good. For entrees we had chicken parm, pasta fresca, and the baked lasagna. Everyone was completely satisfied. What a great experience. We have been here many times and will be back many more.“
“Waters were nice and quick. It would have been nice if they have have actually taken a little more time lolDietary restrictions: Obviously it's an American Italian restaurant so cheese is a big part. Someone who is allergic to dairy has little options but the soup I had was really good! And our server went ou too his way to make sure no cheese touched my salad.“
“Cool place with chill atmosphere and friendly staff. The deep dish pizzas were delicious and, even as a glutton for pizzas, quickly filling. Not to mention that the tiramisu was pretty good. Went here with some friends and we all had a great time.“
“Taking a break from packing to move, so went today for the 1st time for a 10" pizza. Pros: * Very nice flavor. * Not overly saucy, which I prefer, but they did give me a small side of extra sauce, as well as 2 packets... 1 Parmesan cheese, the other red pepper flakes & also enclosed 1 pepperoncino, which was interesting. * I ordered extra cheese & pepperoni & it had PLENTY of both. * A 10" is hearty enough that it's 2 full meals for me. * Very nice staff, friendly & I was offered a 15% discount as it was my first time going, which was a nice touch. Cons: * Price. For a 10" with 2 toppings it was $15 & that was with the 15% discount. Granted, I don't get pizza take out often (I usually make my own from scratch), so that might be par for the course, but I think it's high. * Crust was a bit oily, but that's par for the course with most pizzas, which is why I usually make my own. Good to Know: * They don't sell slices. Overall... 4*... 5* for flavor, 5* for nice employees, 3.5* for price.“
“We got there a bit early, and they opened promptly at 5. Our server/hostess seemed to be doing it all even as more and more people started showing up. She did a fantastic job. We started with a order of cheesesticks served with a rich red sauce. Breading was delicious and fried perfectly. I ordered the Chicken Parm, and my wife ordered the Eggplant Parm. Salad and bread came out next, salad was cold and crisp, bread was warm and very good as well. Next comes our main dish, Both were hot and cooked to perfectly. Nothing exceptional, just good basic Italian food. We both have decided to go back and try the pizza, as it looked delicious.“
“Went there for our anniversary and it was an awesome experience from the moment we walked in! Started off with some drinks - the blueberry lemon mojito is fantastic! Crostini for an app - again it was fantastic. But the best part was the filet with the deburgo sauce. Best steak I’ve ever had. We got a dessert as well & it was an awesome night! New date night spot!“
“The service was phenomenal!!! It was a special occasion, and we were treated like kings and queens!! We got free balloons, and NATE EVEN PAID FOR SOME OF OUR PIZZA!! Our server, Robin, was super nice and friendly! Overall, The Tavern team made sure this 15th birthday party was a success!!“
“I went here for my Father's birthday. I had the server XTina. She is wonderful, warm and explained the dishes to us. The food was delicious. The dessert chocolate molten cake for me, Tiramisu for my Dad. Peach was helpful when I needed something as my server got just a littke bit busy and she was able to jump in and help out with something minor. Those 2 ladies are amazing. You really feel a family atmosphere there. 10 thumbs up!! I'll definitely be a regular customer!! - Aleza Nichelle“
“It was a super windy Saturday afternoon, but we wanted patio seating anyway. Loved the feeling of being out with a margarita flight on a deck under an umbrella... Food was hot and excellent; portions were great. Excited to go back again in spring/summer without derecho style winds!Parking: Limited spaces behind the restaurantKid-friendliness: Kids menu“
