“I work downtown and stopped into Mammitas for a coffee. The atmosphere is so cozy and inviting. The staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable about their products. Upon their recommendation, I ordered a Horchata and it was the best drink I've ever had! I didn't get food this trip, but I've had it before and it is excellent. I highly recommend this amazing local spot!“

“La Rumba is the only place within a two hour radius that has Banda and Nortena on a regular basis. Top bands are brought in from Latin American countries like Mexico and Honduras. Their music is tight and the musicians are top quality. It's great to have an establishment like this in Iowa City which offers live music from the Latin American culture. Vamos!“
