Went here this morning for the biscuits and gravy, for which i was craving for lol. It hit the spot that's for sure. Even though it's under new ownership, I couldn't tell the difference like some places when it changes ownership. Prices are reasonable for what I saw on the menu. Wasn't over priced for what you get. I thought I got a pretty good portion for what I ordered.
We stopped for breakfast here recently on a bike trip in Iowa. This was the perfect little small town diner. Don't expect fancy, but you will get great food for a more than reasonable price.Important - Get the sausage patties for breakfast. Homemade and excellent! Just want I would expect in small town Iowa.

I visited the cafe on Sunday and had a wonderful experience! I just moved to Madrid in August of this year so finding this restaurant was a blessing. Food was amazing, staff were kind and welcoming, and overall the experience left me in a positive mood. I will definitely be a returning, if not regular, customer!
