The food was soo good and the service was quick and efficient. This is probably the best pancheros in the Marion/Cedar Rapids area!

Being from Omaha and living in Milwaukee means we make that trip back and forth quite a bit and stop for a fast easy lunch somewhere along the way. My husband remembers going to Pancheros when he was a kid and as a Chipotle regular with also a soft spot for some Qdoba, I knew I needed to try it. The place was mostly empty when we first get there but got busier once we sat down and started eating. The menu is pretty standard - options for burritos, bowls, tacos, quesadilla, salad - with the different fixings. I decided on a veggie bowl with rice, black beans, veggies, cheese, and salsas. I was disappointed in having to pay extra for guac even though I didn't get a protein and still paid the protein price - ultimately this made my meal more expensive than just a veggie bowl at Chipotle with guac. For the price, I expected the food to be phenomenal and unfortunately it was very average, maybe not even that. The rice was not flavorful and the rest of the toppings were nothing to write home about. I did try both of the hot sauces they offer and enjoyed the green sauce over the red one. Also after finishing my bowl, I was still a bit hungry - a problem I never have at Chipotle or Qdoba as with those meals, I usually have a bit leftover as well. My husband got combo tacos - chicken and tofusada. He said both were good, but preferred the chicken. For positives, the store was very clean and the staff were very nice and polite. I probably wouldn't come back though as they are other better options with better flavors and value.

Zachary was AMAZING. Very good at what he does. Greeted us on arrival. Was patient with questions. He was very quick at building the burritos. Knew what he was doing. He got through a long line quickly and efficiently. He even came over and asked how our food was.The store itself wasn’t spotless but, by no means filthy either. Loved the atmosphere here. My favorite experience with panch to date! Give that man a raise.Parking: A lot of room to park. Plenty of handicap spaces an available.

It still floors me that this location is still in business. It’s just a rotation of rude and listless employees that if you didn’t know any better, you would think they were being held against their will to make your burrito. I love Pancheros as an idea but the finished product always disappoints.

I never leave reviews but this place is especially bad. Firstly customer service was terrible which I can brush off easily. Just care if the food is good or not. I got a burrito and the rice was either over cooked or old and expired because there were pieces that were quite literally as hard as a rock. Same deal with the chicken. A few pieces here and there were extremely hard and had a very uncomfortable bite. Couldn’t eat it. Complete waste of $12 for just a burrito. This is one of the worst places I’ve ate at in a long time.

Marion - I’ve always wanted to try this place, sadly it was disappointing. Not very clean, way smaller serving than even Moe’s (bowl, chips, queso). Service was nonexistent. I stood at the counter for several minutes as two employees never spoke or welcomed a customer (they were making to go orders), portion size was small, however price point was high especially for the small servings. I don’t recall even a thank you after paying. I ate inside and the table had dried queso on it, floor needed swept. The food was bland, the guacamole had large chunks of avocado (they didn’t even crush it - shows another lack of interest by the staff). Maybe I caught them on an off day, but I’ll be going to Moe’s (over by Target) or Taco Depot (it’s coming to Marion) next time instead. This was thoroughly disappointing. Stop at Walmart, get a microwave burrito instead.
