Went there and waited almost an hour for them to tell us that our order hadn't gone through to the kitchen. Then waited a further 35 minutes for the waitress to come back out and tell is that our pizza had been dropped. We all left and will not return. Can't rate the food as we never got it.

Been going to Zenos since I was a kid. 35 years later, I order a Canadian bacon souerkraut pizza. A jumbo pizza with about 2 ounces of souerkraut on the pizza with 2 pounds of Canadian bacon and 4 shreds of cheese. I politely expressed my disappointment and they offered to make me another pizza. The 2nd pizza showed up with NO souerkraut, about 3 slices of Canadian bacon, 2 shreds of cheese and 1 gallon of pizza sauce. I guess if I want a good pizza, I'll go to Casey's. ?

What a great pizza place! They have a good selection of draft beer - Iowa local selections of Grig Grove Confluene and Exile. We had the Zeno's special pizza - soo good!

We are citizens of Missouri now formerly of Marshalltown. We just returned from Marshalltown from visiting with friends and as usual we have to visit the local favorite eateries Zenos one of them Our pizza was burnt on the bottom and not the same quality that we were accustomed to.Noy sure we we will return

Best place to grab pizza in Marshalltown, if you like taco salads and whatnot, get the taco pizza. It is topped woth tomato, lettuce, ground beef, crushed up nacho chips, and they give you taco sauce and sour cream to put on top aswell.

I grew up eating Zeno’s—loved it. However, my love affair with their pizza has ended. I was back in Marshalltown in May and July to eat in the restaurant and was underwhelmed with the pizza both times. The first time, the sausage pieces were small and few (they use to have plentiful good size chunks). The second time, the sausage pieces were scarce too and the sauce had a ‘meh’ taste. At $28+ for a jumbo two topping pizza, we expected the toppings to be abundant. Sadly, they weren’t. After dining, my husband (who became a Zeno’s lover decades ago) and I both said that Zeno’s is no longer on our list of ‘must have food’ when we go back to Marshalltown. Taylor’s Maid Rite, The Flying Elbow and Ev’s ice cream remain on our list. In LeGrand, check out The Sunrise Cafe (lots of great food at great prices) and my now favorite pizza carry out place, Godfather’s Pizza Express (the taco pizza is killer good).

Reminds me of when I was growing up in Marshalltown! The taco pizza is like no other, anywhere! No joke, it's about an inch thick (or more) on a thin crispy crust.
