“The food here is really good. I got a Super Star with Cheese Combo meal which my meal featured a Super Star with Cheese (Plain), Curly Fries (Small), and a Small Fountain Drink (Coca-Cola). The exterior looks nice and clean. However, when I’m writing this review there only open Monday-Friday 6AM- 4PM and on Saturday and Sunday 6AM- 2PM which is unfortunate but that’s one downside. This location has fast/quick service in the drive through. I hope this location continues to have fast/quick service. -Shy_Gun670“
“Their lemon ice coolers are sooo good! It sucks that they only have them seasonally. I go there specifically for the lemon ice. You can get It in a dish, cooler, or a smoothie and you can add different fruit flavors. I usually always get a mango lemon ice cooler, with a large cheese curd. YUM!“
“Wendy's is in our top five fast food restaurants. You can count on the food being fresh. Every time we've stopped in for a quick bite, the staff has always been prompt and friendly. I'd recommend the chicken bacon ranch sandwich.“
“Applebee's is a favorite for me and my friends. Kudos to the kitchen and chef for delicious chicken wonton taco appetizers. The quesadilla burger was perfectly cooked and tasty. Our service was excellent! We dine here often enough that we might be considered "regulars".“
“This is the best McDonald’s in mason city!! The food is always cooked well and delicious!! The customer serve tops all McDonald’s I’ve ever been to!! I really appreciate it!! Especially the interaction I had today!! I drove through and one of the workers was so nice and complimented me on my makeup and made me feel AMAZING about myself and I now plan on being back more than usual!! I appreciate the positivity and good vibes at this McDonald’s even going through the drive through is always pleasant!!! The food is as good as the atmosphere and I love it!!“
“Ordered carry out. There was $6 off “special” on the petite fillet, so I went with 2 of them. The taste was exquisite, literally melting in your mouth. I went with the basic sides of salad and baked potato. I believe they also had offerings like rice and spaghetti for .80 extra.I had been meaning to try this place for many years, but never got the chance, as it is tucked away in a residential area & not on the beaten commercial path. The food did not disappoint, but it is the quintessential old school, dive restaurant. This means there are no menu frills, no bar (yikes) and tight quarters. I sat in a booth near front door & had a glass of wine while waiting. Oddly enough, you can see a couple of small signs near the restrooms that mentioned Lounge. Must be an inside joke, cuz there was certainly no “lounge”, only a couple small tables and chairs (packed with supplies) in a dimly lit area near restroom.It was getting near 6:00 and regulars were packing the place already, so they clearly didn’t need a lounge area. Expect good service, good food and drinks. You just won’t find a bar!Parking: Large parking lot on the side of building, as well as some street parking.“
