The cozy diner atmosphere is enhanced by light from three walls of tinted glass windows, surrounding the dining room. The space is nicely decorated with little surprises and subtle touches. I personally haven't experienced it yet, but according to my husband, if you come on the right day... you might get a free ice cream cone for dessert!“
“This is a great place, built on a reputation, steeped in tradition. I grew up going here when it was Doc's. Went here when it was George's and now here we are at Steburgers. Change to the coney dogs would be disappointing but fear not my nostalgic friends! They tasted the same as they did as a kid and a poor college student. I had the Tuesday lunch special, which was 2 coney dogs and fries for $7. I added a drink and regret not adding ice cream. Service is quick and friendly. This food is made to order so expect a bit of a wait, but I promise it's worth it. Only open in summer, so get your fix while you can...and don't wait so long to return like I did!“
“Obviously I had a new counter person. She had trouble finding stuff on the key pad. I asked for no cheese on my hamburger and got cheese. The fries were over salted. The chocolate malt was delicious. I pulled the cheese off and skipped the fries.“

“I don't normally give reviews online. But Village Inn absolutely surpassed my expectations.My father and I had business in town and came in early in the morning for breakfast as a treat. Just walking in, the place was cleaner and neater than I expected, really spacious and warm.I hardly have coffee anymore, so the fresh pot I was served was delicious, the perfect temperature. I had French Toast with sausage, hashbrowns, and eggs, and let me tell you something. Haven't had a breakfast like that in years! We kind of made some "extra time" in our schedule to enjoy a slice of pie after awhile, was wonderful. After our visit I was full all day! Was the definition of comfort foodTotally spectacular, I hope the staff reads this, because I'm planning my next visit already. Everyone did an amazing job“
