We ordered ahead so we could pick it up. They were very accommodating. Offered other options to go with what I had ordered. (Breakfast potatoes, let me just say OMG! ) so yummy. I belive the whole meal is country skillet? Incredible. Must have. Briana even walked my order out to the car for me when I arrived. Great service always and very yummy food! And very reasonably priced. Thumbs way up! Oh hold up. Hashbrowns! If you like them Cooked a certain way! They've got you! I'm a brat. They did great! LOTS of cheese options. That's a fav!!Parking: Lots of room in the back to park and beside the building.Kid-friendliness: It's a very small town diner feeling. Like grandma's kitchen. Very comfortable for adults as well as kids.

Cook's Cafe has friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. As others reviewers have experienced, it took over 30 minutes for our food to arrive but that was okay in our case. However, the food quality and portions for the price charged were both very disappointing. Two of us ordered Loaded Hash Browns for $7.50 and we both thought there was a mistake and they accidentally gave us a side order of hash browns instead. The waitress verified we received the correct item. The portion size was about a quarter of what one would receive if they ordered the same item at another breakfast place like Ihop or Perkins.Another ordered the Biscuits and Gravy for $7.95. When delivered this was three small biscuits with a bit of gravy. The biscuits were rubbery and the gravy was bland. Others in our party ordered some different entrees and their reactions were similar. All this made for a very disappointing experience.

Food was real good but had to wait 50 minutes for food. They were not that busy. We were there for breakfast at 7am.

Waited over 50 minutes for eggs and pancakes. Service was slow as well and the atmosphere was a dive diner at best.

No. Just no. First time I ever gave them a try, I ordered a bfast sandwich. When I got it, it was just a piece of bacon on burnt English muffin. I was like, doesn't it come with egg and cheese? "Yes" then where is it? Mind you, I waited almost 40 mins for that. But 5 for the new one, wtf? Then the second chance I gave them, there was only 6 other tables in the restaurant, who already had their food. But after we order for only 4 people. They told us it'd take an hour. We left. Worst experience of food, service, quality and timing. Don't go here. Cook is way too old to keep up with timing and effects quality of food. I'm pissed at this place and highly don't recommend if your trying to be quick, big party or high expectations.

Service was great! The people were very nice and friendly, made us feel welcomed. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming, felt like I was in my grandparents retro home. We enjoyed the picture frames hung on the wall and the throwback movies playing on the tv. With that being said, I ordered a stuffed omelette that I did not particularly enjoy due to the cheese slice they used and the hash browns were badly burnt. My partner ordered a 2 egg, sausage link, and hash brown meal and did not enjoy any of it. As we made our way out, we stopped in the restrooms and there was no lock on the women's door and neither restrooms were particularly clean. Personally, would not visit again due to the food.

I always like to go to local hangouts. Walked in and it was exactly the kind of place I like to find. Local people and atmosphere.Cons: OMG slow. Taking the hometown to the limit here with well over an hour wait for breakfast. We asked to cancel and then our order was being cooked. Other patrons had the same issue and were vocal about it. Staff, while friendly weren't overly concerned about how long their customers sat and they didn't provide any update on timeframe.Pros: Atmosphere, I still love home town joints and I even don't mind a bit longer wait for stuff. Biscuits and Gravy were excellent. Hash browns were well browned and crunchy. Please stop by and support the local joints. Just be prepared to wait a bit.

A very dated building, with a health inspection violation hanging on the wall saying the roof leaks in the kitchen and the owner was going to fix it. Waited an hour, just for pancakes and bacon, unit they served it. They were apologetic about the service, saying that they were busy, but they weren't all that busy, and everyone else's food had been served. I should have just ordered dinner at breakfast time, I have never experienced such slow service anywhere like this before, unreal!

The food is worth the wait, but don’t plan on it being quick

Waited 30-45 minutes for biscuits & gravy w/bacon, place wasn't busy, bacon too tough to chew.
