“I went in tonight they asked me if I was going to dine in or out so I said I was going to dine in went down to the register ordered they asked me again is this for here to go I said for here they actually packed my food to go I had to ask for a bowl and extra crackers for my chili the only reason why I'm commenting this is because I noticed that the other people that said that they were dining in they were told to have a seat I was never told that and the young lady who took my order blonde hair gray sweatshirt had selective hearing problems sorry I could not provide a name I understand teenagers need a job the least you could do is pay attention to your customer and what they are ordering thank you former special education associate Des Moines Public Schools”

“We have been several times in the law few weeks and it’s been perfect every time. Veggie frittata is a must try, best I’ve had! My iced coffees have all be the perfect balance. Not too sweet. Scones and muffins are also so good. Grabbed a blackberry lavender scone for my daughter in law and she said it was very good. Great atmosphere also!”

“New to the East side, and still are working on getting correct orders because of that, but we were glad there were a couple of order mistakes because we got to try things we might not have otherwise! The brisket sandwiches are amazing as is the smoked Turkey! Piled high with just the right amount of smoke and the sauce was perfect! I’m glad I got the smoked Turkey as it was tender and juicy,. I am allergic to onions so I usually can’t eat potato salad at restaurants, but their has no onions and was wonderful! And the fried Okra was so good! It was getting busy, so the owners little girl brought us menus and we were got to talk to her… such a nice family and such a great addition to the East side! We will definitely be back”
