Really wish I could give this location a better rating. My daughter came through the drive through the other night and she received pretty much a raw roast beef sandwich (picture included). Now some are going to say this couldn't have happened. It's either pre-cooked or it's liquid meat and all the franchise location does is warm it up. Do a little due diligence and you will find that's not the case... A friend of mine worked for Arby's/DRM Inc. for 14+ years and here's how he described the current process: "The roast beef from Arby's comes pre bagged (frozen) in a basting solution, and then thawed for approximately 72 hours. It is cooked in store and sliced to order 3-5 slices per ounce of roast beef in what is called a wafer thin slice that should be thin enough you could read through." If you don't believe it check out the Business Insider, Snopes, and Mashed articles online about Arby's roast beef... The basting solution is gelatinous which seems to cause confusion with people thinking the contents of the entire bag are "gel." Here's a Snopes article dispelling the whole "liquid beef" concept. Some people might try to say we were accidently served pastrami or corned beef from one of their deli style sandwiches. No! I'm 53, enjoy reubens, and know the difference between both pastrami and corned beef and raw/undercooked beef. Lol When the location was contacted we were told it was fine. That all roast beef is only served when it hits the correct internal temperature and just to eat it... No. The one bright side to this was I filled out the corporate contact form and was contacted by a district manager the next morning. As we spoke he was on the way to the Norwalk location to meet with their GM. Everything is supposedly logged and he was going to get to the bottom of what happened and get it fixed. I'm satisfied that Chad is dealing with the issue. In the grand scheme of things $5.99 for a double roast beef isn't the end of the world, but my local stores on 100th in Urbandale and on 22nd in West Des Moines put out a quality product, and have responsive staff members, and I guess that's what I expect from every location. This wasn't a quality product and the response from the local staff was not acceptable.

Updating my two star to a one star. Went in again today after having a great experience with their new Good burger 2 meal deal a few weeks ago. Today was not a good experience. Only car in the drive thru yet it still took a long time which is fine with me if the quality of the food is good. It was not. Literally nothing in our bag was hot. Didn't get the correct fries. The meat in the burger seemed undercooked and dis not taste good as it had before. Shake machine was also not working. Overall bad experience with everything. Take the drive to indianola if you want better food and service.

I tried the new bacon ranch cheese steak and it wasn't nearly as good as the classic. The bacon was really crunchy hard and dry which was not good and there was far too much ranch. The bun and meat were delicious.

Super disappointed. I ordered, and was charged for, a double beef and cheddar sandwich without the bun. I ended up with less beef than a regular size sandwich normally comes with, so definitely not the double I paid for. Additionally, the crinkle fries were not hot and tasted like they'd been sitting for a little while. The lady taking drive-through orders was friendly and accommodating.

Sandwiches, jalapeño poppers, mozzarella sticks were all excellent. Fries - average. Buffalo chicken bites not really that good. I thought they would be since I love the buffalo slider.

Get shorted on the nuggets sometimes with really small pieces counting as a piece but other than that it's a pretty good spot. Slightly slow service but I'd rather it be slow and come out more quality than rushed and poor quality.

Congratulations Arby's, you have surpassed McDonald's as the worst fast food in our town of Norwalk! I pull in at 5:30pm and I already expected terrible food because the lot was empty. I expected old, dry food that had been sitting under a warmer light for far too long. That is exactly what I received!! To top it off, they didn't have the product they were advertising. I ordered the new Wagyu bacon burger and I was informed they had none in stock. I also ordered a Jamocha shake, and was informed they didn't have that either... since they didn't have the burger, I reluctantly ordered the chicken bacon ranch sandwich. When I get home it was the hardest, driest piece of chicken I have ever been served in my life. And to top that off, it had honey mustard on it, and not ranch.... the only positive experience was the young man running the drive through window. As the people were informing him of their lack of product, he was very empathetic about the situation, and tried his best to see to it that I was ok with my order.
