“First time here and won't be my last. Highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area.The loose meat sandwich was very good as well as the service. My understanding the canteen lunch in the alley has been here since 1927. It is a old school experience and a great place to have lunch.”

“I had a chicken chimichanga for lunch today. First time ordering, and it was ready when I got there. It was wonderful!! Best chimi I've ever eaten, and the price was incredible, especially considering the size of the chimi, which was 2XL. You could get at least two, maybe three servings from this one order. I had everything on it, and the chicken was so tasty and moist. I had leftovers for dinner, and it was just as tasty as lunch. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. You won't regret it.”

“I had the calzone and it was very good. Lots of melted cheese in the calzone and the sausage and mushroom was just as equally. The onion rings were traditional onion rings and not the stringy ones and they were delicious! Our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable she was attentive by what we needed . I would ho back again if I was in the area.”

“I’m from NewOrleans and needed a last minute Chantilly Cake made. Growing up in LA, we had Chantilly cake for every event so when I requested to have it made, I was very nervous that it wouldn’t be the same. Pontip hit the nail on the head with this cake!!! “Happy to have found this hidden gem! I love Pita Pit! Used to go often in AZ, then most locations closed. Moved to Iowa in 2021 and was happy to have found a location in Coralville. Bummed when I found out it had closed. Found this location and I look forward to going! Staff is friendly and quality of food is great!”

“Great coffee! I ordered a quad shot latte without flavor, so the coffee flavor itself is important to me. It was delicious! We ordered avocado toast with Pico de gallo (south of the border, avocado toast), and we loved it! I think I'd ask for it to be toasted a little more, but that's just a personal preference. Already thinking about our next visit. It's a nice vibe and great for hanging out and great service where visiting is encouraged without feeling rushed. Thank you!

“I go there on Fridays with my parents when I visit. They are regulars. I had chicken strips one time, pizza the next. Both were delicious, pizza was cut in an unusual manner. They treat my parents & their friends wonderfully. Will return.”

“I had supper at Courtyard Bar & Grill tonight while watching part of the World Series game. I talked with both Danny and Bren at the bar, both of whom were glad I'd come in. The food was pretty good (fish & chips), bu the service and personal friendliness made me feel very welcome (I'm from out of town & state). But what was extraordinary about the meal is that someone angel there paid my bill. It didn't cost me a dime! I am both touched and grateful to whoever was so generous and kind. Thank you! “went there for the first time today and was impressed with everything we had. we got loaded tator-tots they were really good but needed a bit more cheese, I got turkey bacon melt it was made with Texas toast and was so freaking good. my wife got the chicken Cesar wrap and a side salad which was the size of regular salad. we will definitely be going back soon. can't believe we waited this long to go.”

Vegetarian options: You can ask for any pizza/s you want them to add to the buffet and you get first dibs! The salad bar is also clean.

Kid-friendliness: We have a family of 9 and a lot of our kids are kind of wild. We’ve never had a complaint! They are so accommodating and the dine-in area is so big so you can sit away from people if you feel the need 😜”

“Went there after touring Job Corp and this Happy Joe's was as impressive as every other Happy Joe's I have visited. The staff treated each guest like they were the missing family member and I haven't felt that respected and at home in a long time.”
