This restaurant stands out as the tastiest Indian restaurant in the Des Moines vicinity. After exploring every Indian eatery listed on Google Maps, this one offers the most authentic tasting Indian food. I just wish it was closer to the east side.
Their food and ambiance are excellent.The only complaint is that their biriyani is not really good. Apart from the taste, the amount of rice in biriyani is too much compared to the amount of meat.

First visit. Met a friend. We split everything and it was all good. The kiosk menu gives a good, understandable description of each item. We ordered samosa chaat, chicken tikka masala and ginger chicken. It was all delicious. The restaurant is located in a grocery store. So it's like a diner type setting with counter service and ordering. It was clean. Fast and delicious. A hidden gem in Urbandale.
