“We arrived at around 5pm, on Friday October 6th. There were two employees working, a young man on the grill and a young woman working the register and assembling pitas. We were greeted promptly and told they’d be right with us and they were. They were both very friendly and professional. Our pitas were fantastic to boot! We’ve had numerous excellent experiences with these same two employees. They are consistently surpassing expectation. Keep them if you can!“

“The chicken over rice platter did not have that “New York halal cart” taste that Des Moines desperately needs. But was decent. Portion sizes were about average for the $14 pricing. My wife had a gyro wrap that she said was “ok” which ran around $11.Still getting 4 stars as I will reccomend it over the Mo’s restaurant that is nearby on 60th and Ashworth (that place is a ripoff on portion sizes/price) but the bar is low for halal options in the area.“

“The food is always healthy and absolutely delicious! It's safe to say that the paella is honestly the best kept secret in the Des Moines metro area! The best I've ever had without traveling abroad! If you haven't been to Flavory yet, you must plan your next outing ASAP!! Service is always friendly and atmosphere brings a welcomed diversity to the current restaurants in The District.“
“The food is so delicious and tasty. If you are looking for Middle Eastern food restaurant in Des Moines, that is the closest you would find and more over is the fact its Halal meat.The healthiest meat for human consumption. Read about Halal meat if you are not familiar with it.I know that I'm going to regret putting out this review because It will end up getting very bust once people get to try it and I'm going to have hard time eating there without waiting inline. I just owe people my honest review of this restaurant.Check them out and I'm very sure you will not regret it.“
“Wonderful service and food. I got a gyro and my boyfriend ordered two pitas (beef and a beef and potato). Everything was excellent. The pitas were large so we took one to go and ate it later. Small menu, but that's okay because what they do offer they do it well. Wasn't sure what to expect when we randomly stopped in, but so glad we did. Can't wait to tell my friends about this place!“
“Such a lovely spot for a date night. I used to work here back in high school when it was café di Scala and I had not been back since. Went for an anniversary and was treated with champagne and such a good meal. I got the seafood risotto and everything was phenomenal. The pizza was spot on and everything was delicious!“
“Angelo is a one man army in the kitchen! Total savage. Excellent food. Small staff works extremely hard and is polite. Can be very busy, but when time permits, Angelo is a joy to speak with. Love coming here. Always recommend to friends local and traveling.“
“Came here with a buddy to grab a quick dinner. We were seated right away, towards the back of the restaurant. This part of the restaurant was a little loud, where we had to definitely raise our voices to be heard. It wasn't terrible but much louder than I expected it to be inside a restaurant.Everything else was very positive, the drinks were good and came quick. The food was delicious and plentiful. The service was not amazing but definitely good. Would come back again, maybe especially in the summer to try the huge patio.“

“1st visit here last night. Will not be our last! Great food, great drinks, good portions, reasonable price, great atmosphere! Our group had 4 entrees: Salmon, Pasta Primavera, Chicken Amigio, and Ravioli in a custom Alfredo sauce. We also sampled the sugar cookie martini's.“
“I stopped in a month ago completely unaware of how awesome this place is. Told them up front I had no idea what to order and they walked me through everything they offer. I loved my food and came back again today to tell them how excited I am to have them coming to Ames. It's so fresh and taste great. “So I haven't been to Tito's, but I threw them 5 stars for Atmosphere because the food and service were so good on my delivery order...I grabbed a Gyro, + extra meat... that was a mistake! The Gyro apparently comes stuffed from the start, because this thing was a monster! I also ordered sweet potato fries, and these aren't the normal skinny fries you find everywhere! Tito's has raised the bar on sweet potato fries, huge, crispy, amazing flavor!I don't have a photo... it was too delicious to slow down and take a photo.“
