Cappella Magna is amazing! The seven course meal was so good. Dinning while looking at the replica of The Sistine Chapel just made this so perfect. My husband and I said we would be back for another meal. The staff were so nice and very helpful with recommendations on wine and drinks.

Super cool experience and well worth the cost. The wait staff was absolutely amazing and the owner really took time and talked to every table. I'm definitely going back to try each new menu they offer

The pictures are from several different dinners. I try to make it to each new menu! The food is outstanding, unique, and fantastically delicious. The atmosphere is beyond cool, the people are delightfully welcoming, and each meal feels completely special. You will not regret treating yourself to the most amazing food in the Cedar Valley.

Incredibly unique dining experience. The food and the service were impeccable. The best place to eat in the Cedar Valley, if not the State of Iowa.

So seeing the reviews, I am not sure if they were posted before this place closed but recently after this placed reopened, I can honestly say the food was not good. On top of that, there only open certain days of the week and THEY choose the menu of what you are going to eat. You have no choice which is a huge down fall. Now the orderves were actually good which were the shrimp, crackers, cheese, etc. The first course started with tomato soup. Luckily I wasn't allergic to lobster because when I started to eat it, we noticed lobster was in it. I will say this soup wasn't bad but I hate tomato soup so it wasn't my favorite. As for the main course, I had the steak which I wanted it cooked medium. When I received the main course, the steak was a small piece of meat, it was cooked completely well done, it was covered with some type of blue cheese or something on top with a sauce that covered the plate including the green beans and garlic mashed potatoes. Now I am not a person who likes sauces and stuff on my steak. I literally took four bites and I was done. Now, my son who ordered lamb, he didn't like it at all. He said it tasted like rubber. Now, when we handed the plate back to the owner who was there, because we were done, he proceeded to give us a lecture about how where he lived, people are starving and people in the US waste food, etc. Kept showing us how much meat was left on the lamb bones. I thought that was completely out of line and the owner was disrespectful. Luckily I was nice and didn't tell him that his food sucked and it was horrible. And again, remember, you don't get to choose the meal that you want, they choose for you. So as for the desert, it was so pastry and it was like oatmeal filling in the inside with a scoop of ice cream. I was sitting by a few people and they did not like the desert either. So, bottom line is, if you want to spend a lot of money and have food be a surprise to you, then go to this place. If I could this place would get zero stars. It was horrible.
