“Great local sports bar. You can tell their are a ton of locals as soon as you walk in. But that's never stopped me. I've been twice now. The first trip I went with the classic chicken, bacon and ranch wrap. Excellent flavor and the crinkle cut fries were a great but not overpowering compliment. It was an excellent lunch sized portion, but for dinner I would recommend something a little heavier. Unless you are walking down a runway soon. The second time though, I left a bit more full. On the rare occasion I tried a burger at a sports bar. I have pretty high standards for burgers, because who likes a dry burger with an average bun? No one. Caffreys though surprised me, those folks know how to make a burger. I could confidently say one of the best I've had from a sports bar.“
“Had the fish and chips (around Sept 2023) and looked like cardboard cutouts. Tasted like nothing. No vinegar, so don't ask. Clearly not a strong product. However, if you google Waukee Fish and Chips you get Saints and a great picture, just FYI, that's not at all what my looked like.“
“So I haven't been to Tito's, but I threw them 5 stars for Atmosphere because the food and service were so good on my delivery order...I grabbed a Gyro, + extra meat... that was a mistake! The Gyro apparently comes stuffed from the start, because this thing was a monster! I also ordered sweet potato fries, and these aren't the normal skinny fries you find everywhere! Tito's has raised the bar on sweet potato fries, huge, crispy, amazing flavor!I don't have a photo... it was too delicious to slow down and take a photo.“

“I had the tenderloin, which was more like a batter fried pork chop. It was VERY good. We went with a large group, and most people ordered appetizers and sandwiches. Everyone's food exceeded expectations. The service was incredible given the size of our group during a busy weekend rush.“

“The ambiance is what you would expect from an older sports bar. Great middle aged staff that is very attentive, engaging, and friendly. I am so tired of younger service people who are more interested in chatting with other staff and their phone than actually doing their job. The homemade poppers are the best I have ever had. I was less thrilled with the wings, which were over cooked.“
“We stopped in on a very busy saturday night. We were actually seated pretty quickly. The service was absolutely amazing for as busy as she was. We unfortunately did not get to try the wings. But we all had sandwiches, French dips, clubs quesadillas. Appetizers, everything came out to our table hot. Everything came out fresh everything food wise and service wise was absolutely amazing. They needed to fill the table napkins and condiments a little more because we did run out. But other than that, everything was great. It was a great experience. It was a really great location we enjoyed it very much.“
“We found this place by accident and glad we did. Food was delicious, service was awesome, atmosphere was great! Lots of TVs and baseball memorabilia on the wall. Kaitlyn was an excellent waitress/bartender; she really knows her stuff! We had questions about beers and after dinner drinks and she was well prepared with answers, knew what we wanted and with her bartender experience, she did not disappoint.We got the Southwest Eggrols for starters, I got the Cowboy Burger with crinkle fries and he got the Chicken Quesadilla. We didn't have anything bad to say about our visit today. “I dig this place. I haven't been there much this winter, but they had a pretty good steak special last time I was there. I think it's on Mondays. Regardless, they've got a lot of games, darts, pool, etc. The staff always did pretty well for me, but I don't expect restaurant service, I get busy playing, and I don't notice if they're slow or not. The servers are super nice.“

“I wish we had this Chicken Coop Bar and Grill in Florida. I had visited my nephew in Iowa and we spent 4 out of my 10 days of vacation visiting your establishment. “The Kee downtown Waukee - breakfasts 10am-1pm on Sat/Sun. Don't chintz on this place, if you're looking for a lil dive barish breakfast. Small menu, but good food! Sausage and jalapeño breakfast pizza (I got 10"): loaded 10"or a large pizza crust with eggs, cheese, sausage, gravy and jalapenos was super good. I added more red chili flakes on top but that's personal preference. Flavor-wise it was good and was very very cheesy! Loaded potatoes: diced seasoned potatoes served with bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, toast (add 2 eggs on top, cheese, and gravy +$3. Coffee: it's from a Keurig not my personal favorite, I prefer a plain ol coffee pot cup of coffee myself. Definitely a small, fun place for breakfast that isn't overpriced, over-fancy, nor over-rated. Give it a go if you want a low-kee breakfast. -- eating breakfast at The Kee.“
