The local families that staff the dining room are friendly and very efficient I visited at 9:30 on a Friday morning and the room was bustling but the staff coped with the crowd sweetly! Since it was breakfast time (I'm not a farmer and do not get up with the chickens) I ordered my favorite: sausage gravy over buttermilk biscuits The order was ample and delicious! I really appreciated the gravy not being over-seasoned so I could salt or pepper to suit my taste This new jewel on Main Street really complements the attractive shops and the National Hoover birthplace and museum“
