I heard about this place from a couple who did a video blog. The couple said that they make Paella on Fridays and my conference was across the street Fri-Sat, so perfect timing! Adorable little location that is easily accessible from the Boise Center. We got the seafood Paella & their chorizo. Holy cow! It was so good! Last time I had Paella was in Spain & this did not disappoint. Their chorizo appetizer was also delicious. My work partner had never had any of this before & he really enjoyed it too. Try it out!

The Basque Market is truly amazing and reminds me of my time in San Sebastian! Their pinchos were delicious, the wine was tasty, and the atmosphere was second to none (Calm yet inspiring).I loved sitting on the terrace enjoying a glass of wine with whatever pinchos are recommended by the house. I look forward to going back very soon!

What an awesome place! Right across the street from The Basque Museum, this is the only place in the States that reminded me of San Sebastian. A small footprint, but the market has a wide variety of imported goods from the region. Authentic paella on special days (make sure to check!), but I had a variety of pintxos (the Basque version of tapas) that were elegant and delicious works of art. The staff was kind enough to wrap up some purchases I made so they would be safe for travel. Make sure to visit here if you are in Boise -- a unique and energetic experience!

Loved!!! Everyone is so friendly and chatty and the food is amazing!! We loved the Turon coquetas and the pinxos! All delicious, there’s also a fun market with lots of great things to take home for a taste of Basque Country! Will be retuning and making this a stop every time I’m in Boise.

We had the Basque Market cater our wedding with pintxos and paella. They made one traditional paella and one smaller vegetarian paella, both prepared on site at the venue. Tara was great to communicate with. She even made sure that I had gotten something to eat, since I was busy with guests etc. It was a wonderful, delicious experience enjoyed by all! Thank you!

One of my absolute favorite spots in Boise! The paella is worth the wait, and don't forget to get some croquetas. Great soups! Also everyone here is kind and makes you feel welcome. I love bringing guests here and sitting out on the patio.

Been here once or twice just passing through, but finally had a chance to check out the food for Taste of Downtown Boise 2023. They had a wonderful $12 braised lamb over mashed potato special with a side of country bread. It was very tasty. Perfect for a cold fall day. The service was very friendly and attentive and a nice friendly vibe for the space as well as between the clientele and staff. Definitely worth checking out for the special as well as their usual offerings.

I love visiting the Market. Tara, Tony, and their crew have always made us feel so welcomed. Great atmosphere, great food, excellent wine selection. It’s a blast getting to see them make paella and then enjoy all the wonderful flavors.Kid-friendliness: This business does a great job of making a safe environment for young people to learn more about Basque culture.

Wow. Just wow! I knew zero about Basque culture but when I researched my visit to Boise this was the top recommendation and I had to go! Glad I did. The staff is so friendly and highly knowledgeable about all the fun cheeses and wines. They had just made fresh paella outside and I was blessed to get a plate. Delicious! The wine sangria was the perfect complement. Wish I had an extra suitcase with me because I would have loaded up on some seriously epic foodie items. I’m coming back to Boise again and when I do, this will be my first stop. Thanks to the entire staff for making my visit so much fun
