Reviews for The Basque Market

We ate lunch here on our recent visit to Boise. We decided to do Tapas, so we had the Croquetas, Patatas Brava, and Basque Meatballs. Each dish was delicious and we had enough food that we were both comfortably full after finishing these three. Our only disappointment was that we didn't have room to try more dishes. We would definitely eat here again (and bring a bigger group).

Market with Spanish groceries was okay. The prepared food was not good. At all. And spendy. An insult to Spanish food. The “bravas” were more like soggy mixtas. Fish was basically frozen sticks. We made a special stop here on the way back and regretted this decision. Fast food is honestly a better option.

So great to find tapas available in Boise. My husband's bocadillo de jamón looked so good, even I took a taste. I don't normally eat jamón serrano, but the cheese and ham combo on their soft yet crusty bread was delicious. I ordered tortilla, and this item was a little different than what I'm used to. Every place makes it a little different, and this place made it a little loose, with the potatoes kind of falling out. It was topped with some sort of gooey cheese. At first full review
