Popped in on a June afternoon while visiting old friends in Boise. We had a great time at the Scoria tasting room in Boise, and the wines were great! The person pouring for us was very knowledgable about the wines and made us feel welcomed & comfortable. We have plans to check out the vineyard next time I'm in town! Highly recommend putting Scoria on your wine tasting itinerary when in the Treasure Valley.
By far the best red wines in Treasure Valley!! I was intrigued by all the positive reviews so we decided to go check out the tasting room. Driving in, it appeared to be a simple tasting room behind a home. Inside it had a modern industrial feel and one of the best wine servers we've met in the area. She had such a passion for wine. Absolutely loved the wine. The merlot and merlot/cab blend are among the best I've tasted in Idaho. But the water stains on the wine glasses were a real distraction from the excellent wine.
