A nice change from other options in the area. A little expensive for being served on paper plates with plastic cutlery and drinks from a can.

Simple setting and decor but the food is phenomenal! Easily some of the nicest South/central American cuisine I've ever had. Service was really good and a good little selection of drinks. Highly recommend

We went a couple of months ago, excited to try something new at in Kuna. The owner was friendly and engaging plus we even had some fun with several of the other guests. Sadly, for us, while the food was acceptable, considering what we paid, the overall meal was not memorable or enjoyable enough for us to come back. We love to help local businesses and we want them to succeed so, hopefully, this was just a "bad" night. We believe he was the only working that night, so that might be a factor. We may try again later this year, after we check several the up-to-date reviews.

Never had Peruvian before and we were blown away. We had the papa appetizer and the shredded chicken and carne entrees. Wow. So flavorful, delicious and unique. Definitely recommend if you’ve never tried it!!!

If you're looking for authentic Peruvian food, this place is not it. Overpriced and flavors and cooking style are off. I've been to quite a few Peruvian restaurants over the years and cities and by far this place is the worst. Peruvian food is based on Japanese cuisine, this place is more Mexican palate than Peruvian, and not very good Mexican. It's best if you purchase a Peruvian cook book and cook at home. It's easy with some practice for those who enjoy their kitchen lab.

I was really really excited to try Lima Limon. Having a Peruvian restaurant in the valley is such a win!The ceviche is a must have. Cured in citrus and oh so good. Yum.The lomo saltado was very tasty and legit as well. But there wasn't enough meat in the dish.Unfortunately, the shrimp dish on the Peruvian menu was just ok. It wasn't very memorable I won't order it next time.We had to ask for their aji amarillo sauce, which was more creamy than I've had at other places. It had a nice kick but I didn't love that it was so creamy and rich.Ambiance was 2-3 star. We dined on a Friday night around 6pm and while there were plenty of other diners, food served on paper plates and to go plastic containers with plastic utensils just wasn't a great vibe. Especially when you're paying $20-23 per dish.I think we must have spent $130-140 between two couples (no alcohol). You'd think they'd try to send the server around a few times, perhaps offer rolls and the aji amarillo sauce at the table and just create a better dining experience at this price point. The food was good. I wish they offered more saltado options like pollo, camaron or mixto. I wish they used proper plates and utensils. I wish they gave a squeeze bottle of the aji amarillo sauce at every table. We'll definitely be back for the food but probably will take it to go next time.

Deli atmosphereRestaurant pricingFood not anything special , couldn’t ask for salsa because after giving us our food person disappeared to the back. They have the audacity to have a sign on the table that asks us to clean up after ourselves ?still asks for tips? For what? ridiculous. Will not be back.

Took a new friend for our first time dining experience together expecting a nice sit down meal. That’s not what you get here, you walk up to a counter and order, if you want water it’s $2 for a Kirkland water bottle and then you seat yourself and wait for them to bring your $20+ meal out on a paper plate with tiny cheep plastic silverware that makes eating very difficult depending on what you ordered. Food was so-so and very overpriced for what you get. For this price point I don’t think they understand what a diner is looking for. I really wanted to like this restaurant because they are just about the only place to get Peruvian food in the area but I doubt that I will be back, very sad.

I went to the dentist in kuna and after my sister and I wanted to try this place because of the good reviews but I was not impressed actually I was super bummed at the price we paid for this tiny salad. The chicken had good flavor but they were very skimpy on the ingredients. The salsa verde was not good. The chips and salsa were ok. 10$ for guacamole! The lady was very friendly but overall was not satisfied. Thankfully we went next door and got a homemade cookie! And it was delicious!

The food was good, not great, but considering the price you pay it's not worth it. You order/pay at the counter, your entrees are served on paper plates, the entrees (both identical) took awhile and then they came about 15 mins apart, which puts a damper on the whole meal. Lastly, no one ever came to check on our table. Based on the lack of service after giving a $12 tip on a $55 for counter service I wouldn't return. If you go there leave the tip off when you order/pay and tell them you'll leave cash at the table. Then decide what percentage it's worth based your experience.

First time to try this restaurant and the food was delicious, we tried the Peruvian juice, Chicha Morada, and it was very good flavor. The service was good.

No ambience, pleasant waitress. I order flautas, but was served enchiladas. Had to ask for sour cream twice. The rice and chicken enchiladas were tasteless. The Peruvian food was no better. They need to do one or the other because they are not getting either right. The restaurant is clean, bathroom are somewhat tidy. I don't know how it is getting a rating above 4. I am beginning to wonder about the local taste buds. They need to raise the bar on the restaurant in the treasure valley. The salsa and chips tasted good. Way over priced for the quality that you are not getting.

We were very disappointed. It's not anything like we expected. It's got a deli atmosphere. You go up to the counter and place your order from a board. The staff are nice. There's a trash can right by two tables but he place is clean. The food is okay but extremely expensive for what you get. We ordered chips and salsa, which was small in size for $5 and then paid $10 for a small cup of guacamole with no chips. Couldn't really eat the noodle dish I got because the plastic fork that I got was the small cheap kind and didn't work with the noodles and our food was served in to- go boxes. We had been wanting to go here for a long time. It was very expensive and not worth it. Won't go back.

It's such a great little mom and pop place in downtown Kuna. I had street tacos, which were delightful. They also have a Peruvian menu worth the stop.
