“There is no food served here but there is an amazing food truck that is a winner in the city's most voted for. Chili Bluzs. Every Monday night is Meat Bingo. Play Bingo for a cause. There are sponsors for some great charities that have baskets of a variety of meat and other fun stuff to win if you can be the first to get Bingo. A full bar staffed by amazing women. A great night out for a great cause. Call for reservations though. They do require that with the participation so high. There are other nights with other entertainment. Go check them out!!”

You feel like family, and they listen to your ideas, and sometimes they show up. We just got back on a 105 degree evening, the cool inside was great, beer was better, and the pizza fantastic.. Can it get any better in Lewiston, I don't think so.”

“Mystic Café is one of my favorite coffee shops in Lewiston because it actually feels like an independent local place instead of another polished corporate chain.

The atmosphere is probably the biggest reason. There’s artwork everywhere, interesting decorations on the walls, multiple seating levels, and enough little details around the café that you keep noticing new things even after several visits.

One thing I’ve always enjoyed is the live music. On certain Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights they’ll have musicians or bands performing, and there’s even a piano inside the café. I’ve seen a pretty wide mix of local performers over the years, and it gives the whole place a fun creative energy that’s hard to fake.

As the author of The Grant Colson Thriller Series, I spend a lot of time writing in coffee shops while traveling, and places with actual personality always stand out more to me than perfectly polished modern cafés.

The layout is fun too because the café opens up more the farther you wander inside. Different seating areas, upper sections, little corners to sit in. It feels bigger than it first looks from outside.

The food and coffee have always been excellent, and the staff has consistently been super friendly and welcoming. Their hours have shifted around a bit over the years, so it’s worth double-checking before heading over.

Funny enough, creative coffee shops and music venues like this probably influenced parts of the atmosphere in the Paris Nights Romance Series more than I consciously realized while writing.

“I’ve been seeing ads for this place and when I was in need of a tasty sandwich with a lot of meat and flavor I decided to give their club sandwich a try. It was SO TASTY, and everything in it was QUALITY from the bread to the bacon to the meat. The portion/size of the sandwich is nice and big too, Bircher’s truly lives up to the hype! We ordered through doordash and it was still hot when it arrived and not soggy even with double dashing.”

“I love the frozen yogurt and boba here. My only complaint is the past few times I’ve tried to order the boy working the counter had everything shut down a half hour early. He keeps the open sign on the door up but turns off the neon sign and has turned us away. Their website claims they close at 9pm. I understand starting closing chores early but it’s a bit disappointing that this has happened more than once.”

“Quqiit Bar and Grill absolutely knocked it out of the park. The buffalo burger was one of the best I’ve ever had—hot, thick, and incredibly juicy, cooked perfectly and packed with flavor in every bite. You could tell it came off the grill at just the right moment.
The fries were fantastic too—crispy, fresh, and the perfect complement to the burger. The place was clean, welcoming, and had a great atmosphere. And Denae, our server, was excellent—friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right without ever being overbearing.
This is the kind of place you leave already looking forward to your next visit. Highly recommend—don’t skip the buffalo burger!”

“This is a pretty good bar, It has 6 dart boards and two pool tables. The atmosphere on the weekends is usually bumping with a majority combination of college kids and young adults. The music varies heavily depending on who's paid for priority on the jukebox but it's usually at least tolerable and most weekends it's a vibe with some songs the whole bar will sing together”

“Great staff and customer service, always very nice with very few mistakes, but always quick to correct. I've gone to both the Lewiston and Clarkston locations and they're always very clean. I go to the Clarkston location mostly now because I'm closer to it, and the staff is always so friendly! It's pretty fast, sometimes it's a bit of a wait because of big orders and longer lines, but for the most part it's quick. I don't review places mostly cause I feel they've already got a big following, but these places deserve love for the people who run it daily, and the quality of food they provide. Great job!”

“Went to MJBs for our anniversary dinner! We were in town from Wisconsin and made sure we made it to MJBs for dinner while we were here! Always amazing food and amazing staff. Our waiter, Skylar, was so attentive and friendly. The food was on point like always. Highly recommend the house chips as an appetizer. I have been craving them for months! We also ordered the bite size, which was cooked perfectly, and the jackhammer which had amazing flavor. Definitely our favorite restaurant in the valley!”

Today was the true test. Leftover pizza. Still was very surprised at the taste and it wasn't soggy nor the consistancy of cardboard and still tasted great. Love the parmesan on the top!
