I absolutely love the variety of choices for pizza in the Treasure Valley. Idaho Pizza Co, Domino's, Little Caesars, The Flying Pie. I was disappointed when I finally got to try Chicago Connection. We spend $54 dollars for one gluten-free pizza, a medium pizza, and an order of cheese bread.The garlic chicken my wife and I ordered was okay. The toppings were good, the crust/dough, not so much. The roof of my mouth feels tore up, and I have the taste in my mouth like when you're getting sick. The gluten-free pizza wasn't bad, but it was great either.If you really love this place, by all means, keep going. Just wasn't my slice of the pie.

I started to write a 4 star review, but as I read some of the rantings of others it made me change my opinion. Coming from a past background of food services I understand you can't please all the people all the time. Specifically when people call at your busiest times to complain. I have grown up in Meridian and have spent years ordering from Chicago Connect in Meridian and have had ok times and great times with my outcome. Just like any other place I am sure they have had workforce problems. A year ago I had a terrible experience at this store, to the point I did in fact call corporate and spoke to a very pleasant person that listened to my concerns and actually assured me things were being addressed. I was given a pizza voucher and was asked to not give up on them. I have ordered multiple times since and for the most part it went very well. Just this last week I ordered on a very busy Friday night and though it took a little longer to get it was the best experience I have had there in years. This tells me they really are trying their best to make it better. The growth in this area and the lack of quality people actually wanting to work and show up for work makes it challenging for these small businesses to be perfect every time. I commend this store on the changes they are making and Chicago Connection will always be my favorite pizza! For some of you that have a different opinion feel free to take your business to a place that will make you happier and honestly think about how hard it is to please everyone all the time.

I called to order for delivery and was hung up on twice, I know I was because I heard people in the background. I called a 3rd time and a kid answered and I asked if I could speak to a manager which their operations manager answered and told me she was “literally there by herself” which in no way shape or form makes sense if a kid answered. I told her I wanted to place an order and she informed me they didn’t have time to make one pizza (this was an hour and a half before their closing time.) I told her I tried calling 2 separate times but was hung up on twice and she called me a liar, and told me that their whole staff called off, when I told her that the way she was talking was not okay she said she’d call me the next day to discuss it. I never got that call (surprise) but if that’s their operations manager I can only assume she’s a big reason why morale would be so low to have an entire team call off, and for a pizza company that’s goal is to make money why would you allow someone like her to ever communicate with your customers? She was horrible. Just a garbage experience from a pizza place I used to absolutely love and frequent. I will tell everyone I know not to order from here anymore.

Walking in.. it feels like pizza. If you could bottle what you think a Chicago pizzeria should smell like it’s this. Being from Wisconsin there’s a love for deep dish. Everyone at the counter from the gent that looked for my order to the pizza chef that offered to help me to my car was so friendly. The pizza was great! Crust to topping ratio on point. For sure will be back when that deep dish craving hits!

After writing the review below a few weeks ago, we decided to try Chicago Connection again as we were offered a free pizza, and I have always loved their pizza. Well, they knocked it out of the park!! The pizza was amazing, hot and oh so cheesy. Thanks CC Meridian for making me a believer again, it was delicious and I will continue to be a customer.My previous review:Hoping this was just a bad night for this store as we have been ordering CC pizza for 33 years and this was the worst experience we've ever had. Ordered at 5pm told delivery would be by 6pm, called at 6:20pm and was told it was out for delivery, called 30 minutes later and was told they had no idea where our order was but they would get us our order. At 7pm someone showed up with our order that had obviously sitting somewhere the entire time as it was cooked very dark, crust super dry, and although I paid for extra cheese, there wasn't even their normal amount of cheese. Our bread sticks were the same and after one bite, we threw everything out. I really want to continue to support CC, but....???
The manager deliberately tells the workers to leave the phone off the hook so you cannot call in you have to go and order in person....not cool also workers eating pizza on the shift!

Very disappointed tonight. We ordered our pizza at 5:45 PM tonight and were told delivery was about an hour. After an hour of waiting we called for an update. Was told the pizza was in the delivery truck and the driver left 20 minutes ago with four stops. After a rough discussion with staff was passed off to manager Brian who said they were short staffed and doing their best. He said he’d refund our money but this doesn’t make things correct since this is the second time we have experience this. Pizza arrived a few minutes before 8:00PM (1 hour 9 minutes later then promised)Terrible service! Cheese on the pizza was rubbery and the crust was hard as a rock. Very disappointing!!! We’ll never order pizza again!! GFY

I'll always love CC, been eating it since I was kid. Literally the only place my mom would take us out to dinner, she'd get a salad and let us have a bite, a pitcher of Rootbeer and a medium cheese pizza. Dip that in ranch, best childhood memory.Post covid, a little shaky, but the last 6 months has been back to gourmet amazing pizza and fresh salad bar. Yes it's expensive, so as a mom now, it's our celebration/something special dinner option for sure, it's worth the cost. We always get to go or delivery, still haven't gotten used to the fact that it's in the old pizza hut building lmaoPSThe Mexican pizza is amazing and offered year round
