“Amazing dinner with our extended family. Our waiter was spot on, gave great recommendations and suggestions, was prompt and very professional but remained personable to relate with the seniors and the kids.
Fondue was a blast for the kids. Everything I had the chance to try was superbly delicious. Wagu Ribeye, pacific sole stuffed w/crab, bread, and even the caesar had the perfect amount of anchovies.
It was a pricey meal for our budget but worth every penny and wish I could afford to eat there more often!”

“We love this restaurant themed for the first person to win an Olympic gold medal in skiing, Gretchen Fraser. The indoor space feels a little more formal than the covered outdoor terrace interspersed with flower beds overlooking the skating rink. Familiar upscale menu, the food tonight was well prepared and the service was excellent.”

“Our group had a wonderful dinner here with a hardworking, passionate team at the helm. We had such a lovely conversation with Crystal and had a delightful meal. The trout dip in particular was a big hit. So glad we found this spot and we will be back!”

“Get there near opening time for lunch or get ready for a wait! We arrived 10 min after opening and got the last table. This place is being discovered. We enjoyed the Schezuan Dumplings and Hot Chili noodles. Both were among the best we have had domestically or in Asia. Simply excellent! They have a proper tea menu with Puer, Oolong and many more.”

“Very simple menu - basically fried chicken sandwiches and huge potato salad. They had a couple of other options. The fried chicken sandwich and potato salad were amazing! The owner has a great, very outgoing personality! My husband and I really enjoyed eating here. We played several games of Connect Four which was at our table. It was a lot of fun! We definitely recommend this place! We'd add photos of our food but it was so great and we ate it immediately! 😂”

“Excellent in ambience, with fresh ingredients including their produce and homemade pasta. We cannot sing the praises of the Covey enough. We booked dinner reservations during the busy Trailing of the Sheep Festival weekend. While this modern elegance meets cozy farmhouse fine dining restaurant would have been an ultimate experience for a date night, our expectations were FAR exceeded with our family of four (including two younger children). We enjoyed the mafaldine, lamb cassarecce, and butterleaf dishes. They accommodated a delightful simple pasta for our youngest one, and encouraged them to create artwork while we waited for our meal. Their artwork was proudly framed and tastefully displayed on the wall by the bar. The evening ended with a delightful sweet surprise by the chef/owner and his dog. We will be back, with our family, friends, and for a date night!”

The food was delicious, specific and thoughtful; it was clear the chef and everyone around them deeply cared about the quality of the food. Portions were generous. “Went to the Sun Valley Jazz and Music festival. Went to this restaurant for dinner. Taken aback by the modest setting. Nothing fancy like most other mexican places. But holy cow! The food was incredible. Very distinctive chips and fantastic green salsa. My wife got her go to-shrimp and chicken fajitas. Excellent quality. I ordered the chicken mole. Holy Mole as they say. Mole is a rich sauce with a cocoa base-not chocolate though! I asked for it to be really spicy and the cook winged it (it's not traditionally very spicy). Bam! Spot on. Best I've had so far. Now back in Boise and can't wait to try the one in Meridian. Man my mouth is watering thinking of that Mole...”

“Best sandwich in town, Solid old school staff, solid owners, in fact it couldn’t have been taken over by a better set of brothers. One of the only solid original locals joints left in town that isn’t pretentious There’s not enough I could say about Johnny G’s without sounding like I’m over fluffing them and sounding like a brown noser. The DelBello is the go to. Tip them well they deserve it”

“Celebrated my birthday there and could not have enjoyed the entire experience more!! The hotel is beautiful with amazing views in a prime central location. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind. I really loved the music on the patio. This is a dog friendly hotel, so we were able to have our 4 legged kids join us for our celebration. We had a place to store our bikes safely and enjoyed the proximity to bike trails. Our stay was very pleasant and we are excited to return soon. Thank you Limelight!!!😍”
