We ordered for delivery, and they didn’t charge insanely large fees for doing so, which was an amazing start! They didn’t have an option for tipping your delivery driver, so if possible, be ready to give a cash tip. I got the brisket, and it was amazing! I saw some of the reviews after I ordered and was nervous, but they gave a good pile and it was tender and very flavorful! I first went to Famous Dave's on a road trip through South Dakota in 2001. Loved it. I've been to several over the years, but since I live in a place without FD... I don't go a lot. We were very briefly staying in Twin Falls and I fired up Yelp to see our choices. My wife wanted sushi and I wanted BBQ. We didn't expect to find a compromise. I had a hankering for coleslaw and BBQ so we decided to give Famous Dave's a try. We got there only to then realize it's takeout only... from inside Johnny Carino's. Not that it stopped us, but I was really wanting to sit down and eat. The food was good, but the meat on the sandwiches was not really hot either. I recommend trying to pick your meal up ASAP so that it has less time sitting around.
