Open, very, summery atmosphere! Feels like you're grabbing dinner on vacation to places like Palm Beach or Miami. Such a great place for a brief escape from Chicago winters. Elegant but still casual. Bright colors, nothing dark and dingy like several if the more old school Italian restaurants. Food is excellent! A good variety. I had the linguine with clans and I loved how it wasn't saturated in butter and garlic. Tasted like it does in Italy! Bread was fresh, beet salad was surprisingly delicious, and the Gelato was some of the best I ever had. We got hazelnut and pistachio. Coffee was good and strong. Service was good though we had to ask for several things which should have been already at the table, like grated cheese, salt and pepper, sharing plates should have come with the dessert as they gave enough spoons to know we were all sharing, etc. I've been here when it's jam packed and the service has always been great! This time it was less busy and we had to ask the bus boy for things. But, that being said, the waitress was very polite and immediately took care of requests when she was present. I wanted a table by the window and the host willingly accommodated us by making a 4 top for us. One plus from coming on a lesser busy time was that it was much quieter,l. Usually it's pretty loud in there when it's busy. But I always appreciate the uplifting vacation like atmosphere! I've never been disappointed, and this is probably my 4th time eating at Lucia Rose and will not my last.

Lucia Rose has it all. Outstanding service. Excellent menu choices and the food is fantastic. Very cool vibe, too. It's a 12 out of 10. We quit going to Chicago a few years ago to dine at wonderful restaurants. Lucia Rose is definitely that level without to city problems.

Rose quite simply nails every aspect surrounding the three pillars of foodservice. You can see from the moment you walk in that someone put in heart and soul from ambiance to menu. As a regular at forno rosso, I had no doubts Lucia would not disappoint. Portions and quality are high, and it saves me a trip to the city to entertain family and friends because I live in Bloomingdale. Some Old /new school italian recipes and service with a modern twist is 2 jab upper cut knockout for me. Thank You for stocking woodford reserve as well. The best part is they have been able to maintain the consistency of service and quality on every visit which isnt easy. Much more luck and success to Mr Nitti and Lucia Rose Team!

Nice tablle settings with a beautiful bar and a super clean restaurant.Since it's an Italian restaurant, I was expecting the chicken lemon to come with pasta, but it comes by itself. Other than that, the food is delicious. I ordered a tiramazu for dessert, but I was expecting the form of a cream cake. Instead, it came in a small glass. It was good but not worth it. The place is perfect for a nice lunch or dinner setting with a loved one.
Food was outstanding.. just felt a little rushed to order. While eating appetizers she wanted our food order. Overall I would definitely recommend and return soon. Lots of great food and drink for the money!

Just had an awesome dinner with our family here. Delicious food. Amazing service from Antonio and crew. Team effort for sure. Everything we ate was delicious.Felt like we were in the city. Great atmosphere.Parking: We parked our selves but there is also valet parking.
