Owner is great and always kind when ordering. Fries are always fresh and the king turkey paired with the free fries, sauce, mayo, turkey, cheese, tomato has a completely different taste to it. Great place and highly recommend!”

“I always love coming here & frequently do when I want a good hearty meal or bringing friends. We are always kindly greeted & welcomed when arriving. It smells wonderful & makes us more hungry! We are served a cup of soup (gratis) with every meal including breakfast (their soups are delicious). The staff is friendly & always accommodating. Our food is served hot in generous proportions & for the price (very reasonable compared to other restaurants of this kind), it can’t be beat. Greek owned, the hospitality & food is reflective of the Greek Culture, representing pride, family, community, friendship, kindness & duty of service that is offered to their guests. This is known as Philotimo (pronounced “Fi-ló-timo” [Fee-low-timo]).”

“On 4/1/2026 i visited Sakura, i quickly found out it is a HIDDEN GEM! I had the hibachi combnation noodles and for $17.89 you get A MEAL they cooked the steak,chicken and shrimp to perfection! Full of zuccini, carrots mushrooms and seasoned& sauced perfectly. They just got themselves a lifetime customer!!!”

“Truck delivery if you have flour for doughboy docks 19,20 are around back. Enter the main entrance and go all the way around to the rear side. Small tight rough road so be careful. Plenty room for docking and over night parking.”

“We really enjoyed the bbq ribs and the sampler of chicken wings (small portions or tastes). Sauces were delicious (several to choose from - i likedthe house and spicy the most. Other options included a mustard, a vinegar based and one with horseradish). Ribs were tender and smoky. Yum.

Coleslaw was unimpressive and a bit sour for my taste. Other side we tried were fries - portions were large enough to share. We had basic salt and pepper, but there were choices.

Clean up procedures weren't clear so we left our trays on the table. We had given a tip though food was not served.

Tables were picnic bench style with chairs. Everything seemed sticky although regular cleaning was going on.

Sports bar style with a couple large tvs in place, adding to the noise. There weren't many people there but loud.

Ordering was a bit inefficient but we weren't in a rush. The customer service was really good though. Very patient and helpful.”

“I’m not from this area, I actually live in NW Indiana but sometimes come out this way for work. This is by far the best DD I’ve been too, besides the location in Munster, IN. No matter how busy they are, the line always moves fast, my drinks are always made well, my food is always done fresh (I get the avocado toast) and the toast is crispy but not burnt. Anywhere else the avocado toast is usually soggy or cold. But not at this location. The employees are always so friendly and nice. Never had an issue ever. All I know is that the DD locations in NW Indiana need to take some lessons from the management/staff at the Alsip location because they’re doing something right. Wish I could get this type of service at the other locations. Good job! ?”

“I ordered a steak suizo burrito dinner and they brought me the biggest burrito I have ever seen! Plus, very generous portions of refried beans and rice, and a basket of chips. Everything tasted great! Service was decent too. I *will* be back!”

“I’m giving this dunkin a 3 in food/service because I ordered a bagel on my way to work. I asked for a plain bagel with veggie cream cheese on it and the lady in the drive through confirmed. I take out my bagel while I drive and the cream cheese isn’t on it and it’s not veggie, they gave me plain. So you want me to spread my own cream cheese, cool. Now what about a knife to spread it? No knife in the bag. You can’t even call to express your frustration because their number doesn’t work.”

“We usually order delivery from Wings Chinese for our office and they are always fast. Today we placed a large pick order for 10 people, and all the food was warm and delicious. My only suggestion would be to call the order in rather than placing it online to get a more accurate pick-up time for large orders. The staff is friendly and they even gifted us with a large quantity of fortune cookies.”
