Enormous variety of reasonably priced and tasty comfort food with fantastic service.

Lunch was Greek Chicken, and a Rueben sandwich. The Greek Chicken was good, came with stir-fried veggies, Greek potatoes and delicious Lentil soup. Service was excellent as always. The Rueben was very good, came with fresh chips.

Went into the restaurant where on the door said that everyone had to wear a mask unless eating or drinking. As we sat down and we noticed the server did not have a mask on, the hostess and hostess did not have a mask on and the cooks did not have masks on. We got up and left

Places like this are a disappearing breed. Just good solid food with standard American fare. Nothing here will dazzle you, but on the same hand nothing will disappoint either. Homey feel, no trendy vibes. Feels like you stepped back into time.

Love this diner in the downtown area of Arlington Heights. I eat Keto / Low Carb and always find great options from onelette to meaty sides, salafds, steaks and more. In the summer you can sit outside. It's right by the train station and our kids love watching the metra go by. The staff is always super friendly and service quick. The family recommends: eggs benedict, dipped sandwiches and mickey mouse pancakes. They are happy to sub or customize dishes as needed too. Bonus as we visited in September 2021: no wasps although they've been everywhere lately! Inside vibe: this place will take you back a few decades!

I hadn't been there in a few years and it appears to have changed owners. Food was sub pare. Washroom looked like something out of the 70s. Service was good. I think the upgrade of the downtown area has left them in the dust. Sorry.

We were a senior group. The service was just right we all recieved separate checks no problem. Service with a smile. Food was fine and well proportioned. Prices are reasonable.

I've been going to the Dunton House forever, I moved out of the area 18 years ago. But their food is always AWESOME! I try to make trips there on Saturdays if I come to the area as they have Egg Lemon Soup!!

Doesn't open on time as advertised! Needs a good cleaning! Portions served also very small

No line for a table at noon on Mother's Day. The service was decent but the food was mediocre at best. The omelets and the pancakes were not fluffy at all. I could have made them better at home. They brought me the wrong omelette. One of us had a breakfast sandwich and he said it's the worst he ever had. The Greek salad was pretty plain. There were four of us and no one was impressed at all. We were here in the past and it was much better.

It has a cozy feeling. Its a little worn but it has its charm. The people working there seemed genuinely nice. The food was very good. I had the Hawaiian omelet which came with hashbrowns and my choice of pancakes or toast... not much of a choice... pancakes! I went on a midweek morning so it wasn't crowded. Apparently the have opened up everyday for dine in recently. (It was just weekends before). I would certainly go back!
