My OG go to. It's not a great place for a beer selection, so don't come here for that, but the food is good, and the staff are great, very attentive and very friendly. There are some good deals like the 20 taco tray. I love the Birilla de Borrego. Latin music is lit, and it's a very comfortable vibe.
It's a good vibe, and the margaritas was really good and strong. But its just a little too pricey for me - service was awesome and everyone was friendly, the food was decent as well

I had a problem with my order. Brought me the wrong thing. And struggled to fix it. Le After talking to 3 people, The manager came to fix it. She made such a huge show of fussing about it, coming to the table multiple times. My husband and I left so embarrassed for the spectacle.

A favorite of mine. Good food, great atmosphere and (as you might expect) the salsa is amazing. Love the fajitas, but really I thing everything I've tried there is quite good.

We saw this place on channel 11 and wanted to visit for a while. The entire process seemed very irritating as they don't take reservations but they do have a waiting list that you can get on their website the day off and while driving there. We did that and still ended up waiting over 20 minutes in the doorway with people bumping into you. We were seated at corner table and the entire dinner I had people bumping into my chair. The tables are so close together, there is no breathing room to even get up and put your coat on. The food I thought was average nothing to get excited over. We eat out all the time and live in the south loop. I did like the ambiance, decor it was very old style charming Mexican style. I will not go back, it was overall not the best experience.

My friends and I went late on a Thursday night and the place was packed! We all ordered a drink and they were pretty strong and very good. Fernando was wonderful and even took a few pictures of our group! The food was very good, and the service was fast. I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for good Mexican food in the area.
