When I lived in Aurora I loved to eat there, especially the caldo de res. I compare all Mexican restaurants to the food at La Cabana. Few measure up. Their food reminded me of that my mother-in-law made.

Really good food the salsa is killer. So sad to hear the owner passed away recently ?. And no one to take over. so it seems after today or in the next week it's closing for good. Hopefully they can figure something out. Was there today probably for the last time.

We eat here every few weeks! Their food is so good and their service is so friendly and very fast!!! I love their margaritas. It’s a hidden gem in Aurora. The owner is very friendly to patrons which is another reason we keep coming back!! Try their cocktail de camaroon, any of their combinations, their nachos, a quesadilla or a taco. You will not be disappointed. Their Mexican rice is very tasty as well!

Such a cute place for a relaxing and filling meal. Chips and salsa were delivered immediately upon seating. Food was prepared and served quickly. I had a steak chimi and it was perfectly cooked. Delicious!!! The beans here are probably my favorite compared to other local restaurants. Highly recommended.

Been going here since 2002 with my family I fell in love with the burrito plate with cheese on top only and rice and beans with cheese really good Been a regular for years now never complained about my food the steak is good there too I get it well done but the burrito plate is my go to never been rushed out always never had a bad experience the staff is so friendly the times that I’ve gone

We catered for a taco bar for our daughter's birthday party and needed food for at least 30 people. My wife and I spoke with the owner in person to get pricing. He said for a deep dish of beef, deep dish of chicken, a tray of beans, tray of rice, tray of lettuce, tray of shredded cheese, 16oz container of salsa and a tray of tortillas it would cost $680 (he was coming up in his head prices while looking at his cell phone. It was very shady and there was no set package catering options). This didn't include delivery, sternos, tray holders or even chips (that cost extra and we end up paying for that separately on our own). When we picked up the food, everything was hot, but we didn't get deep dish portion of meat as promised. it was very skimpy and we didn't have enough food. They are very over priced and I wouldn't recommend catering from them in the future. Don't get ripped off like we did. I wish I knew ahead of time the amount of food we were actually going to recieve. They asked for half the money upfront so we couldn't back out.

the BEST salsa i've ever had, a little spicy but it's tolerable. everything i've had there is super good. the loaded nachos are very good with lots of toppings that are on every chip, not just the top layer like most places.

Been going here since I was small, Im over 50 now! The food is closest I’ve known to my abuela’s cooking and I have never been disappointed. The past 2 years I have lived in Texas and thought by now I would have found something as authentic. Not even close, so this remains 1 of my first and last stops of every visit to this area. So Delicious!
