It's been over two weeks since my family and I visited The Polish American Bistro. It would be remiss of me not to leave a wonderful review of this lovely restaurant! Ania and Darek, the owners, are the nicest and most hospitable people ever! Since I have family in Poland, it was fun to talk to them about their homeland. If anyone likes Polish food, the POLISH AMERICAN BISTRO in Barrington is amazing. So authentic, delicious, clean & owners are very friendly. Small, casual with great desserts too. They give you plenty to eat. If Borscht is soup of the day, I highly recommend it. 8 of us loved our various meals & will return! Took my Mom here for her Birthday. We had the best time and the goulash potato pancakes were soooo good. The presentation was fantastic and the owner were so kind and welcoming for our special occasion. Really hope you try this place and spread the word, its a gem for sure.Kid-friendliness: Owner and staff were so nice to my son, giving him some fresh bake goods.
